Vacation rentals in Camp de Masque

This was just amazing stay with most beautiful location we saw on Mauritius. The house is situated in quiet neighborhood of houses just few steps from sandy beach, which seems not to be crowded even though there are hotels near by. Fadil was very friendly and helpful - he immediately solved the problems we had. Truth is that those could have been already refurbished, as well as some little things in house which was visibly used (outdoor chair, outdoor clothes dryer, outdoor shower, only cold water in washing machine), this is the only thing we were disappointed about. Anyways this place was worth the money, we would definitelly book it again.

It's a beautiful place, calm, serene & peaceful. The villa is rustic with beautiful corners & paintings adorning its walls. It's is close by to everything including the airport. There is a detailed guidebook curated by the hosts. And there is a little corner for books.

The bungalow is located in a very quiet area, you don't hear any noise from the street at night and the airport does not have any flights past 23:00 usually. You only hear the souond of the waves at the nearby beach and can relax very well at the nice terrace. The terrace roof offers also great protection from rain and sun so you can use it a lot. The appartment itself is lovely decorated. I have to mention the bed positively as it is very firm and comfortable. The kitchen is equipped with a lot of useful stuff as someone could actually live there instead of old leftover kitchenwear like in some other appartments which was really good. All in all, we were really happy with the appartment and could relax very well. The nearby parking was also great because you really need a car in the area to expore the island.

The place is just amazing to have some beautiful and excellent holidays in Mauritius. It is situated in a safe area, a gold estate, and there are 2 restaurants in the area. A boat is available for the guest to go to the Île aux cerfs every 30 minutes, a peaceful island, very quiet where you can stay all day (there is also a restaurant there). Every place you want to go can be done by walk (if you like that) or by car. Cecile’s house looks like the photo : beautiful and well furnished, you feel like home but with this touch of modern !! Ni neighbour because open space in front of the pool. The weather is not certain in Mauritius, but we had a chance to have sunny days so we really enjoyed our stay. Ein zauberhafter Bungalow inmitten eines üppigen Gartens. Das Aussenbad stylisch , die Aussenküche super ausgestattet mit Kaffeefilter, Mikrowelle und Kühlschrank mit Eisfach. 2 wunderbare Katzen , die gerne gestreichelt werden wollen… keine Mosquitos , Fliegen oder Ungeziefer, alles sehr sauber gehalten . Benedicte ist eine sehr freundliche und tolle Gastgeberin. Wir haben die Zeit so sehr genossen und werden wiederkommen. Ich glaube, es ist das beste Airbnb auf Mauritius. Ein Auto ist allerdings notwendig. Ein magischer Ort, schon der Weg dorthin ist die Fahrt wert.

Het huisje is super netjes en stijlvol ingericht. Toen we aankwamen stond er zelfs een fruitsapje en vers fruitbakje klaar. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig, wij hebben niets gemist. Stephanie kwam ons persoonlijk ontvangen en ze was heel vriendelijk. Ze reageert snel op berichten en is flexibel met in en uit checken. Ze zorgt er voor dat je je thuis voelt :) in de omgeving is er ook vanalles te doen, het ligt in een klein vissers dorpje maar er zijn wel verschillende supermarkten en winkeltjes aanwezig. Het is een gezellig dorpje. Het huisje ligt wel langs een drukke weg dus het is er nooit volledig stil. Voor ons was dit verder geen probleem. Met een prive paadje vanuit het huis ben je zo op het prachtige rustige strand. Het strand is ook heel mooi om een ochtendwandeling te maken. Op de dag van vertrek kwam Stephanie zelfs een stukje eigen gebakken cake langs brengen, super lief! wij vinden dit mooie huisje zeker een aanrader! :)

The villa was absolutely stunning - the design and decor of the villa was so tastefully done and resembled something you’d find in a boutique hotel. We’ve stayed in plenty of air b n b’s, but this one has to be our favourite. Great place to socialise indoors and outdoors. We had a rental car with us which was handy, because the shops/restaurants are a short car journey away. We ate at green island beach restaurant and la case poisson, which were both great and enjoyed visiting belle mare and palmer beach which is about 15 min drive from the villa! Loved staying here and hopefully we’ll stay again in the future.

Nous avons passé quelques jours dans l’appartement de Quentin, tout s’est très bien passé. Nous avons été très bien accueilli par la famille de Quentin qui vit juste à côté, merci beaucoup à eux. Notamment Christine et sa maman qui nous ont cuisiné un excellent repas pour une soirée, et puis l’excursion en bateau autour de l’île aux Cerfs avec Julio qui était supère ! Trou d’eau douce est un joli village, et c’est très agréable de se promener sur le petit port, à quelques pas de l’appartement. L’appartement est spacieux, joliment décoré et agréable. Bref, nous y retournerions avec plaisir !
