I loved staying in this cabin in Huehuetenango. The place is quiet, with a beautiful view and cool weather. The cabin is comfortable and cozy, ideal for resting. Gabriel was very kind and always attentive. I definitely recommend it!

We had a great time at Francisco's. The room is simple and clean and there are enough blankets so you don't get cold! It is located in a small park with llamas and alpacas that welcomes a few visitors during the day. We were welcomed into the family home for breakfast and dinner (good and hearty) for 30Q per person per meal. Although the family ate before us, they were very attentive to us and we were able to connect with Raúl, Francisco's brother. It was a pleasant and authentic moment, all in simplicity.

Junkolal "Yich'en" lakefront cabin

A cute and basic little hut with everything you need for a few days away from the hustle of the Mexican cities. It lies beautifully next to Lago Tziscao and with a nice view from the room. There is a private bathroom with plenty of hot water. We also really enjoyed the feature of the hammock where we relaxed and cuddled their dog, Roki, who was so sweet. In general, the family who owns this place are really kind and helpful and we felt at home at their place. They have a restaurant on the site with very good food, breakfast and dinner, for a good price. The place in general could use a little tidying up, but it didn't bother us too much and it looked like they were working on some improvements. Tip: Can recommend taking the mototaxi from the town if you arrive by colectivo as we did and have all of your belongings with you. There is a tourist centre almost close by where you can rent kayaks and have a nice swim.

We stayed two nights and really enjoyed the stay at this place. Spacious, comfortable spaces, had extra amenities that served us a lot for the time we were. Thanks for your help
