Bungalow vacation rentals in Cambodia

Beautiful, magical location. Chea was an incredibly hospitable host, always there to share a recommendation, story or have a chat. Easily the best accomodation on the island. Beautiful, spacious bungalows with a priceless view. Helped organise activities for us too. Wouldn’t hesitate to book this place again and will be recommending to anyone I meet who is visiting Cambodia.

Loved spending NYE here. They just finished the barbecue area in time for NYE and we got to have a lovely party with wonderful food and very pleasant company. Chea and his family are great, the vibe is awesome, the place is right on the village beach, very near the jetty where the ferry arrives. And it's an easy walk to the quieter and bigger beach, or up to the sunset viewing spot. Only minuses: the trash buildup around the island, and the mosquitos, especially in the bathroom (I got crazy bitten) meaning you have to douse yourself in repellant a few times a day if you're susceptible. Still, the value and the welcome and the peace and quiet were wonderful, and at this moment anyway, you are still able to find a secluded spot on the big beach away from other people where you can enjoy the incredible warm, calm water, while also having a good few dinner and bar options for later if you want to socialise. Ideal.

Place is rather good, I liked. But one should be careful about: 1. There are many mosquitoes everywhere. In bungalows as well. 2. Because of the weather boats could be cancelled, so be sure that you don’t have connection flights or so, at the same day with your departure from the island.

If you need to really get away from it all. The hustle and bustle of the city; this place is it! Beautiful beach with crystal clear water, glow in the dark plankton, they have snorkeling gear. Food was good, restaurant right on sight all home cooking. Staff was amazing; there was a little bit of a language barrier but they were always super helpful. Don’t leave snacks in your bag in the bungalows; not sure if it was a mouse, lizard chewed up my backpack and had a snack. This place is so peaceful I definitely recommend it!

Chea was very friendly and a great host. He was quick to respond to messages beforehand and flexible with a change to our booking at short notice. We were met on arrival from the ferry and able to access the bungalows early in the morning on arrival which was very welcome. Everything was cleaned and ready and Chea was available throughout our stay to help with taxi boats, return ferry and other minor issues. He checked every day whether we needed anything and kayaks and masks were available to borrow for free. Facilities were basic but clean and functional exactly as described. Had a great stay and loved M'Pai, but be prepared to accept things as they are - this is not a sanitised tourist resort! Thanks and good luck with future plans for the site!

We are very lucky to be Kelly’s first guests. The bungalow recently built on his family land was very beautiful surrounded by dozens of mango trees with so many pretty little things inside for decoration. Local fresh produce market is 5 minutes walk away if you fancy some Cambodian snacks or fruits. During our stay, Kelly and his brother took good care of us. There was some language barrier with his family but nothing major. Then upstairs łbathroom was leaking and there was some construction going on next door daily.

I had a great stay at this apartment in Siem Reap! It’s a beautiful place with its own balcony and kitchen, which is quite rare to find here – so I was really happy to have it. The location is a bit outside the city, but that wasn’t a problem at all. I could always get a tuk-tuk quickly, and the ride to the center is fast. Surrounded by trees, the place offers great privacy and a peaceful atmosphere. Of course, that also means you might have some little animal visitors – I had a few ants and lizards in my room, but I didn’t mind. Communication with the hosts was smooth via messages, and since they live next door, they’re often around in the communal area. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again! Had a great stay here, pictures don’t do justice in showing what a beautiful little hidden Oasis this place is. Host was great, so friendly and gave great advice on local attractions etc. would definitely book again when I return to Cambodia. Thank you Christy & co!

We had a great short stay at Christy's place! Wish we would have stayed longer to experience more of the Town, have a few drinks with Christy and play with the lovely dogs. Khmer New Year was an absolute highlight in Siem Reap with water guns and baby powder all over the street. Special shout out to Christy's husband, Sok that made our tour to Angkor Wat a trip to remember for a lifetime. His knowledge regarding the history of the temples are exceptional! Lewis and myself will definitely return! Thank you for hosting us Christy, Sok, January and the lovely dogs!

Davy's place was truly an oasis! From the moment you walk in the door of the property, you will be in awe! We arrived late in the evening so all the lights around the property were on and made it feel even more magical! Her and her staff are amazing and help with everything possible. You will truly be immersed in nature, so if bugs bother you, you may not enjoy all the beauty! She has a delicious restaurant on the property that serves complimentary breakfast until 10am as well as reasonably priced lunch and dinner until 10pm daily! I would highly recommend Davy's place to anyone! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Highly recommend if you want to stay the night in the jungle! We loved it, we had an amazing view and the hammock was a great touch. Close walk from the pier and bars but really quite at night. Would happily stay again 🙂

We really enjoyed our stay here. Facilities were good, and the accommodation was spacious and comfortable. We were able to walk into Siem Reap in around 30mins, but you can easily get a tuk tuk. Christy was a lovely and welcoming host.
