Vacation rentals with a patio in Calvert County

This home was wonderful and just as described. While Blair was out of town, Karen treated us wonderfully, even greeting us upon arrival and offering to help us get inside. We didn’t need much, but she was immediately reachable and ready to make our stay great. Would absolutely stay again!

This is a great place to stay and tour the DC Metro area - provided you have a car. Most days it would take us 30 minutes to get to and from DC though if we hit rush-hour, it was as long as an hour. The space is tidy and great. My kids love the pool, though it was a little cold for me-they swam there every night. Jennifer is great to communicate if you have any needs she gets stuff done right away. Note that there is only one bathroom, which can be a pain if you have a full house of six people. The washer and dryer are small so it will take you longer if you’re used to a full size. She had all the cooking methods and appliances available. The theater room has Netflix and Amazon prime ready for you to watch a show. There is even a popcorn maker. We did not use the gym, but it was nice - comparable to a small hotel gym. Property is in the owner’s basement, so there is some sound from upstairs as identified in the listing. Host stays out of your way but is there if you need anything.

Lovely apartment. Clean, well-appointed with everything we needed. Quiet, family-centric neighborhood that is walkable. We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the parking space in the rear which allowed us to explore DC without worrying about navigating parking downtown. Lillian was communicative and proactive. The overview of the neighborhood and close by conveniences was helpful.

Jessica's basement apartment was very nice and had above and beyond amenities for the price. She was responsive and friendly. I'm happy with the unit however the thermostat is located in the host's living area so you will have to coordinate a temperature with her but she was always friendly and accommodating. I would happily book with her at this location again.

The place was so cute and clean! We appreciated the water bottles that were left for us and the popcorn machine is so fun!

We had such a wonderful stay at Anthony’s apartment! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The apartment is super cute and impeccably clean—absolutely no stains or wear on the furniture, pillows, or bedding. Everything felt fresh and brand new. Anthony was incredibly responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. There was a filled Brita pitcher in the fridge, coffee ready to go, and all the essentials were thoughtfully provided. The space was easy to access, had plenty of parking, and is located close to so many great restaurants and spots to explore. The views of the water were beautiful and added such a peaceful touch to our stay. I had seen some older reviews mention a smell, but I can confidently say there was absolutely no odor—everything smelled clean and fresh. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this Airbnb and would definitely stay again.

Wish we could have stayed longer! We didn’t need to bring anything. All linens, paper products, towels, and kitchenware were provided. Right down to mosquito spray. picnic blankets, and s’mores. Charles was helpful, flexible, kind, and available. He was willing to give my kids and I an up close lesson on beekeeping. He has 5 well maintained hives on his property and was eager for us to come along checking in on them. It was very impressive! The property was beautiful, peaceful, and quiet. There are a few paths to venture out on. One lead to the private beach, another out to a close view of the bay. The deck was the show stopper. The view of the water was amazing. While sitting on the deck, there were hummingbirds, butterflies, and deer passing through. And we could see all of this from the comfort of the hot tub . The game room was a nice bonus. There was something for everyone: darts, poker, drawing, puzzles, movies, board games. I appreciate you sharing your cottage with us!

We had such a wonderful stay! The kitchen was incredibly well stocked—honestly better than my own at home—with 5-6 large pots, an Instant Pot, every spice you could think of,peelers (which saved me!), and both a NutriBullet and a regular blender. It made cooking for the family a breeze. The kid had a blast on the trampoline, and we all loved the easy beach access with calm waters perfect for swimming all day and kayaking. The beach was also perfect for a peaceful morning run, and at night we could see the lighthouse light on the water. The porch quickly became our favorite spot—we gathered there to watch a rainstorm and were treated to a stunning double rainbow. The sky was full of stars at night, creating such a peaceful atmosphere. The grill on the porch made cooking super convenient. We enjoyed being close to a large park where we played pickleball. The beds were large and comfortable—everyone slept really well. Michael was a fantastic host—very attentive and accommodating.

5 stars — Perfect waterfront retreat for a wedding weekend! We stayed at this beautiful waterfront property for our wedding weekend, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The views were absolutely stunning and made for a peaceful, picturesque backdrop for such a special occasion. The home was spotless, spacious, and well-stocked with everything we needed. The hosts, Garrett and Lauren, were incredibly responsive and accommodating, which made planning and check-in a breeze. And we’re so gracious in any last minute asks or needs we requested! We loved spending time on the deck, taking in the sunrise over the water, and relaxing with family and friends. The location felt private but was still convenient to nearby restaurants and shops. We would stay at this property again and again, our family that was present for the getting ready portion Saturday morning cannot stop talking about the property/home. This property is a must! Thank you for making our wedding weekend so memorable.

The Ritter House was amazing - a perfect place to enjoy the long weekend! The home itself was stunningly designed from an architectural standpoint, but also beautifully decorated. The view from private yard the was gorgeous and peaceful. We enjoyed walking down to the beach, but mostly took in the view and peaceful scenery from the terrace. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spotless. My husband and I cannot wait to be back - hopefully making this annual trip!

My family had a wonderful stay at this BNB. Lots of space for everyone. Big rooms, really nice kitchen. It was very neat and clean. The neighborhood access to the beach was a plus. The neighborhood is very nice and convenient to the highway.

This was a cute little home to stay at over the weekend. Only downside was having to pay for beach access. But the house itself was very nice and had all the kitchen items we needed. Would stay again.

We had a great time. The place was very well equipped and we didn’t need anything extra. Plenty of towels and blankets. Kitchen had extra seasoning and condiments which was nice. Short walk to the beach which was very private and relaxing! Highly recommend!

I stayed for a couple nights at Dan's place. It was very comfy and very safe. He is highly responsive and helpful. I will definitely try and stay here again next time im in town!

This is the place to book for your next DC trip!! Lovely hosts and a modern, clean space. Location is close to everything, nestled in a quiet neighborhood. Fully stocked kitchen, for nights you want to stay in and cook. We were in town for my masters graduation celebration and the hosts had a personalized note and grad gift for me when we checked in. Talk about hospitality!! We will definitely be booking again!

Kristen's place was even better than what I had anticipated from the pictures! She was super friendly, proactive and responsive!She most definitely knows what she is doing when it comes to paying attention to detail and making my stay even more wonderful than anticipated! This property makes you feel right at home! 11/10 stay here, BEAUTIFUL inside and extremely clean and immaculate (to say the least)!! Thank you for an amazing stay! Would recommend to anyone looking to stay near the DC/College Park area! :)

Perfect spot for a quick girls weekend. The view and outdoor space were really lovely and the location was perfect. We easily walked to multiple shops, cafes and restaurants. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. We would definitely stay again.

This was an awesome stay! If you have infants their place is a must as it is easily baby proofed and has so many accessible items!

I definitely loved this home soooo spotless felt right at home. You might hear people walking here and there BUT it’s not an all the time thing, other than that it’s so peaceful. Kitchen is beautiful and has all the spices you kinda need if you wanna cook, bed was sooooooo comfortable and the living room was so inviting. It’s close to food spots banks grocery stores, etc. I’m definitely booking again.

5 stars – Perfect Stay! Absolutely loved this place! The location couldn't be better—right in the heart of everything, but still peaceful and charming. Check-in was the easiest I’ve ever experienced, and communication was clear and kind throughout. The apartment was spotless and cozy, with a super cute roof deck that made morning coffee and evening wine feel extra special. Everything about the stay was seamless. Highly recommend—would 100% book again!
