Birdie Mae - 2 bedroom House in DT Hamilton

ReneeRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Arrived after a 9-10 hour drive to walk into a half cleaned house. Not sure what happened with the cleaning staff. Messaged the host and property managers to inform them. They responded very quickly, apologized for what we walked into, and offered another property to stay at. The other property was nearby and had the same amenities that we had originally needed in the first property. The second property was clean and nice. We felt very safe there. Would recommend either properties. Very convenient for shopping at the quilt stores.
The charming façade of a multi-story brick house is shown, featuring a welcoming porch with columns and hanging flower baskets. A flag is displayed prominently on one side, and a well-maintained lawn surrounds the entrance, with seasonal foliage providing a natural setting.

Loved staying with Lisa. Very friendly. Loved sharing time on the front porch with Lisa and the other guest. Lovely place. We will likely stay again next time we are on a quilting expedition.

Myself and 2 friends stayed at Lisa's for 3 nights and everything was absolutely wonderful. Lisa met all of our every needs, was very friendly and delight to be around. It was a very relaxing atmosphere and although she has 3 dogs and a couple of cats, they were all well behaved and never bothered other than to say hello in the morning and get a little head scratch. Her place was easy to find and we enjoyed sitting out on her wrap around porch at night and just visiting and taking in all we had done for the day. The beds were all very comfortable and the bathroom was very nice and she had plenty of towels etc. for all of us to use. The only thing we would say, which is not a negative, is that the bedrooms and bathroom are all upstairs, so if you have problems going up and down stairs and carrying luggage upstairs, you might want to consider this. It was not a problem for us and we are all in our mid to late 70's. Thank you Lisa for a wonderful time!!

If you want to stay in Hamilton after a busy day at MSQC, then this is the place for you. An updated 1904 (I think) house that just welcomes you in the door. We enjoyed sitting in the front porch. Our Estate room was beautiful, cozy and comfy and we slept great. Terri prepared a wonderful breakfast the next morning and then we were on our way.

Mrs. Hughes Cottage - 2 bd house in DT Hamilton

NicoleRating, 5 stars3 months ago
When we couldn't get into the house we had reserved, our hosts problem solved quickly and provided us an alternative property. The new property was suitable and conveniently located. There were a few spiders and small ants around the house, but I am not sure that a guest had been in it for a while. We had to purchase a few kitchen items for food storage. I would suggest making sure kleenex and kitchen storage is available. overall very happy with our stay and the courtesy of the hosts.

Lisa was very kind and accommodating.! Her lovely home is very close to Missouri Star Quilt shops and the Missouri Quilt Museum. Both are easily walkable from her location. The property grounds are lovely and well maintained. A nice big sign on the porch lets you know you're in the right spot.
