Villa vacation rentals in Calcata Vecchia

We found Andrea’s villa a very welcoming family home. It really did feel like home from home. It was a wonderful place where we could relax as a family - whether it was reading a book, playing pool, table tennis, or chilling by the swimming pool. The salt water was new to us but we loved it and the depth of the pool was great for diving and jumping as well as swimming - the photos don’t do the pool justice. The pool area is beautifully situated on the property and at different times throughout the day parts are shaded which makes for comfortable swimming. Having the caretaker nearby was very reassuring. We rarely saw him, but he would be available if needed. We did a day trip to Rome and drove to Fidene ( parking was easy and free) and then caught the train into Roma Termini - 1 Euro per person - amazing value. Andrea was very easy to communicate with and we had a lovely stay there at the end of our holiday.

We stayed two families in the house with plenty of room for big and small. the terrace is worth highlighting with its beautiful view. We enjoyed the pool and the beautiful garden at the front of the house with another nice terrace. The kitchen was more than fully equipped-there was everything you could want. Francesco and family were very friendly and helpful and were answered to all our questions very quickly. An absolutely lovely week in wonderful house and beautiful surroundings. The area has a lot to offer. There is ample opportunity for nature experiences just around the corner. restaurant and shopping about 3 km. We'd love to come back another time. A perfect place for travelers with a car. Entrance through an electric gate to a large and well-maintained yard. Pampering and clean pool. The hosts are super helpful and communicative. I highly recommend and will definitely go back there.

Simona's house is great, very spacious and comfortable. It is perfectly equipped and we felt right at home. The garden area is very comfortable to be with the children and have a pleasant time. Simona is an excellent host, always communicative and willing to help. I would definitely stay at this house again.

Lovely old house, full of character, sense of history, spacious and well maintained. Gardens are very beautiful, lemon and lime trees in terracotta pots, shaded terraces and sunny ones next to the large swimming pool; all very private and peaceful. Caprarola and surrounding towns are interesting and picturesque. Alvaro readily answered any query and was helpful and welcoming, as was Steve the host in all our communications.

This was, without a doubt, one of the best experiences in an Air BnB we have ever had. The location is indescribably beautiful with sunrises and sunsets which can be enjoyed from your 100% private pool. The entire building is yours and had everything you could possibly want. There is nobody else around and yet a stunning Italian walled town is within walking distance for all amenities. Federica is a fantastic host who was there for check in and then gives you the run of the villa. Could not recommend more, thank you so much Federica.

the house was very nice, the only thing is that obviously when we go in winter those comforts that you could use the summer, you do not have them, it is there... however they were really kind. They did not give us an exact time to leave the house. They met us. The house is very large and there is a lot of space, we were 15 people and it seemed like very few people inside the house although it is large, 😊 we had a very good time.

We absolutely loved staying at this villa, we had such amazing holidays with our family of 5. The surroundings are beautiful, the house is great and so comfortable. Alcide who cleaned the pool for us every morning was so friendly and helpful, and Gio (the host) was always available for any questions or recommendations. We will be surely coming back every year! Francesca and Vittorio's house is a paradise just a few kilometers from Rome The interior is taken care of in every detail, especially the master room,magnificent covered veranda where we enjoyed unforgettable breakfasts, outside with a crazy pool,you will feel like you are in the London countryside. The kitchen is a dream , super equipped , the outward view at sunset will make you forget everything! Recommended for those who love the countryside and nature, the dog Elisabetta has kept us company for the duration of our stay, flexible check-in, friendly hosts! thanks for everything. We were a group of 14 people and it was perfect for all of us ! Near to the metro, it was really easy to move around Rome even if it is a bit far from the center. Maurizio is an excellent host, really welcoming and always here to respond to questions. The Villa is beautiful and perfect for big groups, there are a lot of modern equipments. We will come back next time in Rome for sure ! Thank you Maurizio !!

Giuseppe's house was amazing! It was perfect for our trip to Rome with 9 people. We traveled with 4 kids and they loved the yard and pool (although we didn't swim in it because the weather was a bit too cold). We rented a car and drove into Rome. It was about a 30 minute drive to the Parcheggio Saba Villa Borghese where we could take a bus or metro to anywhere we wanted in Rome. It was nice to stay outside the city, but be close enough to get in easily. Giuseppe and Flavia were responsive hosts and helped us out a lot. Highly recommend this place!

We absolutely loved our time here. The setting is amazing, the pool and adjoining soccer area are perfect and the pizza oven was a huge plus. The house has layer of character, history and family items from photos to books and art work. The Host was kind and attentive. We hope to return soon. Sharing the pool and common area with another family was a slight surprise but not an issue. This is a special place.

Everything from check in to check out went wonderfully in this beautifully renovated house. We enjoyed the beautiful pool that brought wonderful cooling during the warmer days. Ideal base to visit e.g. Rome and Tivoli and to relax in the countryside afterwards. The garden is heavenly and offers 100% privacy as the listing also described. We would love to come back! The house with its large garden and private pool is a true slice of paradise. It’s the perfect place to relax and the surrounding villages, some of which are medieval hilltop towns, add a wonderful charm. The area above Poggio Catino also offers fantastic, well-maintained hiking spots, with lovely places to enjoy. My dog thoroughly inspected the fenced yard and couldn’t find any way to escape – excellent! The contact with Luisa and Gianfranco was very pleasant and they were extremely helpful. My favorite restaurant was Ristorante La Casina Nel Parco in Cantalupo In Sabina. I would gladly return, and I highly recommend this accommodation!

Wonderful ! From the place, the house, the amenities to the host, everything is perfect. Marcello is such an amazing host, always available and sharing great advices to enjoy our stay in the region and around. We had amazing time. The place is really located in the middle of the nature and helping to relax. Good to note that Rome is only 1 hour drive and therefore really convenient too. We can only recommend ! We spent two weeks at Rosanna's place with our daughters and four grandchildren. The house is great for large families with its three apartments. All the apartments were very cozy and well decorated. The kids loved the pool which was big and clean. Many sun loungers and good umbrellas. They also enjoyed the ping pong table a lot. We had all meals outside, either by the nice dining area or in the sofa group. We went to the two lakes and went swimming as well as to the sea. One day we touristed in Rome. Everything was within a reasonable distance by car. We got suoerb service from our hosts who helped us with alct, including booking an urgent doctor time. We got fresh eggs as gifts we several occasions and also vegetables from the garden. They gave us a lot of tips about everything and responded very quickly to messages. Really great hosts who made our holidays unforgettable. We'd love to come back

We stayed at Christian's beautiful house with our three children and enjoyed the peace and quiet very much! The garden and the clean, large pool were of course the highlight. All four bedrooms have mosquito nets and air conditioners so we could sleep cool. Linen, towels and a very well equipped kitchen were available. Christian was available the whole time and always responded immediately if we had a question. His friend Alberto welcomed us at check-in and explained everything to us. He also came every two days to check the pool. The house is totally quiet in the middle of nature and is easily accessible by car (gravel path, but good to drive). We felt really very comfortable and can recommend this beautiful house with a clear conscience.

We were very comfortable in Fabio's house. Of course, the pool is great, which is beautifully situated with views of the olive grove but also offers plenty of shade due to the umbrellas. The fact that there are so many bathrooms and air-conditioned rooms makes the stay very comfortable. The photos correspond to reality. The house is very quiet and if you are looking for this on vacation, you can spend the perfect vacation here. To be able to go to a good restaurant you have to drive by car. Orvieto and Lake Bolsena are worth seeing in the nearby area, but Rome, Siena and Assisi are also available for a day trip if you take the car trips. Checking in is uncomplicated and flexible.

Amazing house and amazing host ! Stefano, Gigi and Felicia are the sweetest, very helpful, flexible and genuinely kind ! We spent the weekend there for a get together between old friends, we were 10 and everything was perfect !! The surroundings, the food, the chimney, the big barbecue outside .. we could have stayed here forever ! 😄 Many thanks again to the three of you, Gigi for all the help, Felicia for the wonderful sponge cake and Stefano for his guidance and support !!
