Beautiful Waterfront Home Close to Trails & Acadia

HollyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The experience left nothing to be desired as we were looking for a remote spot and a place comfortable and spacious enough to stay inside during bad weather and Jeff’s place checked the boxes. We were the only ones in the 2 unit home. The view is very pretty and the wildlife is plentiful. The access to the water is down a dirt embankment which leads to mud flats at low tide. Beware of the tides if you can get the kayaks down there.

Lubec Sandy Beach Loft W/Kayaks

SarahRating, 5 stars8 months ago
A beautiful, peaceful stay in Lubec! We hope to come back someday and rent the large main cabin as well. It is a great location to relax by the beach and explore Campobello Island. The pictures were accurate but just an FYI for anyone who has a someone who snores or has kids in the family- the two bedrooms are only separated by an open doorway and a curtain - you can hear everything from the other room. 😆

Waterfront rustic unit in a former Cannery.

DanaRating, 5 stars46 months ago
This place is wonderful! The highlight is definitely the kayaking—we saw seals when we were out on the bay one day!!!—but the place was well stocked, convenient for hiking, cooking, and hanging out. Plus they have an adorable dog named yoda who you can pet if you’d like!

Remarkable 2 bedroom Waterfront Apartment

SinaRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Laura's apartment overlooking the pier and water was truly exceptional. The apartment is spacious and large with incredible views in a prime location. Laura was a terrific and flexible host and we appreciated how easy she made the check-in and check-out process. Would absolutely stay in this apartment again.

Colonel’s Quarters

Jim And MelissaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We booked a year ahead and Mia was more than willing to allow that without question. She automatically applied military discount. I asked her if the house had a covered roaster, she said it doesn't, but she will buy one for me! I asked several questions throughout the year prior, and she was on it, never annoyed. They had a significant family event, she gave me heads up ahead of time in the event responses were delayed. She gave us Dyllan's # and told us to contact anytime. He actually left us a warm, welcoming letter, and a delicious jar of homemade applesauce. They thought of everything we would need. Their communication is impeccable. Their passion for Eastport is evident. The home is amazing, built in 1900, has 17 windows, and 3 doors also with windows! The fog, sunset/rise are beautiful. The friendly neighborhood, everyone waves. My husband got to meet her sweet parents next door! It feels like family here. You leave with a piece of Eastport in you. Definitely recommend.

Fisherman's Rest

AllisonRating, 5 stars8 months ago
We had a great stay - two adults and two teenage girls. Very spacious! Close to many beautiful attractions. Would definitely stay here again! Cozy old home. We were very close to the ferry to Deer Island and went whale watching from there. Also a short drive to St George and a little further to St Andrew’s. Lovely part of the province! Thanks!

Mulholland Cottage

DianeRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a wonderful stay at Robert’s cottage in Lubec. Robert is a great host, proactive and extremely responsive. The house is very clean, comfortable and well equipped. The beds are very comfortable with nice linens and pillows. The deck and waterfront are lovely. We enjoyed cooking on the gas grill and loved sitting on the Adirondack chairs near the beach. Everything at the house is exactly as pictured and as described. This was our second stay and we will definitely be returning again.

Steps from Acadia National Park

EmilyRating, 5 stars5 days ago
What a beautiful stay. It was my first time in the area and at Acadia NP and I’m so happy I chose Jackie’s place in Winter Harbor rather than the busy Bar Harbor side. It was so peaceful and quiet in the evenings. There were also walking distance hikes in Acadia NP. There is a ferry on the Winter Harbor side to take into Bar Harbor which was a lovely scenic trip and incredibly convenient. There is a delicious seafood restaurant right down the street that was walking distance from the house as well. Jackie was so responsive and a great host. I would 10/10 book again.

Bear Cove on Meddybemps Lake, ME

We booked Mary's place for three coworkers while they were in a job in Calais. They reported that it was awesome and much preferred it over the meager solutions out that way. Very nice and reasonable option.

HOUSE OF DREAMS ( BAILLE an AISLING)

RebeccaRating, 5 stars6 months ago
We loved our stay at the House of Dreams; it was cozy and comfortable, with a gorgeous view of the cove. Jason and Aimee left us some thoughtful treats, and the home was beautifully decorated. It was fun perusing the library including great info on the local flora and fauna. The beach was only a few steps away and it was so restful to hear the ocean and hunt for treasures on the beach. We would definitely love to return!

This rental was idyllic -- beautiful scenery, incredible outdoor porch and seating, and a house that felt like being home. Paul was a very welcoming host who offered to make us lobster and even set up a volleyball net! Would love to return again!
