Good place good location reception were great

Had a lovely peaceful stay, felt right at home. Everything was clean and as described. The inside outside living is fabulous always being a perfect temperature. Annie had thought of everything even beach towels. She also helped us plan some great excursions that we would have known nothing about . We made a little friend while there a very cute green tree frog.

This is a great place to stay. It's not in the city centre so you might need a car, which we had. It's quiet, comfortable and well equipped. This is our second stay and it will be the first place we will look at whenever we are visiting our family in Cairns.

Marita was very accommodating and responsive to any inquiry. Overall, great stay!

Julie’s place was absolutely spotless and provided a safe, comfortable haven for our Christmas stay. The location was wonderfully quiet and perfectly dark at night, ensuring a peaceful rest. Breakfast in the morning was a highlight, featuring delicious tropical fruits. This is the best BnB I have stayed in due to its exceptional cleanliness and the host’s effective communication. Highly recommend staying here!

If you get the opportunity to visit and looking for a home away from home Julie’s home is the place to be. 5 minutes to the beach through her small but beautiful rainforest at the back of her home. The sounds of the waves are amazing hearing them roll in and hit the beach can be felt throughout the home. Was a lovely place to unwind and relax. Enjoyable by all the family including our teenagers.

A beautiful, private space. Lovely host. The bathroom was stunning and had a rain shower head. Will be recommending, and would definitely stay again.

Wonderful host and beautiful neighbourhood to stay in. We wanted to be out of the city but in a tropical setting. We had it all - botanic gardens, walks, proximity to the city and its wonderful galleries and indigenous art. The host was generous and caring. The apartment was exactly as we expected with a beautiful view. Thank you.

Beautiful little flat and a beautiful part of the city. The resident wildlife was nice and it was the perfect place for us while we found a home of our own. Recommend to anyone who is looking for a nice clean quiet environment. Will also just say that our host was friendly and made us feel welcome. Thank you.

Lola & Wayne's apartment is one of the nicest Airbnb's we have stayed in. It's spacious and beautifully furnished; the beds were comfy, and both en-suites had beautiful bathrooms & towels. The kitchen was well set up with everything you would need if you wanted to make a meal. Location was brilliant, many Restaurants & Woolworths were just around the corner & Cairns Aquarium was one of the best Aquariums we have been to. We were picked up for all our tours from the doorstep so those early morning pickups were made easy! Also going to the reef as the boats left from the marina below us. We will miss sitting on the balcony looking out over the marina. Lola so kindly picked up a cake for me that I had ordered, such a beautiful surprise for my sister & her husband celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary, thank you Lola, that was much appreciated. Thank you Lola & Wayne for hosting us in your gorgeous apartment, you made our holiday even better than we could have imagined.

The location was perfect closed to everything but still peaceful and quiet. Margaret was incredibly welcoming and responsive, providing clear instructions for check-in and check out. I would 100% stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Great value for beautiful private room with cooking facilities and Smart TV, perfect mix between homey and peaceful weekend away. Host was very responsive and accommodating which made the process very stress free. The location was 25 minute walk to public transport and 45 minute walk to the beach. Having a hire car was really helpful and almost became better value than getting an uber.

It’s a mini paradise of your own with the self contained guest suite of their family home with an outdoor area facing the beautiful rainforest garden. I could’ve watched the birds cleaning in the bird bath for hours. The access to the Johnson River at the bottom of their property is perfect to watch the world go by or to spot a platypus. They’ve got a beautiful family home in a beautiful part of the world. Close to Malanda and Yungaburra, it’s the perfect out of town retreat but still only a short distance to 2 beautiful little towns.

Libby was an amazing host. She was always very responsive and helpful in her suggestions of excursions to make the most out of our trip. The room felt very special as it featured a lot of her own photographs of the reef. It had everything listed and more, with a handful of complimentary snacks and other cooking essentials already provided (i.e. oil, seasonings, foil, etc). All in all, it was a great value and I highly recommend staying here.

Lovely guest suite to stay in, easy access to town by buses

This was by far the most thoughtfully designed Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. Bronte has an incredible sense of style, every single detail in the apartment feels carefully considered. Each tiny item fits perfectly with the overall aesthetic. The space is modern and stylish yet feels incredibly warm and welcoming. We felt so comfortable throughout our entire stay. Bronte was also lovely to communicate with. We truly had a wonderful experience and would always come again.

Good stay! Definitely would recommend booking Ubers/ renting a car for getting around as it is a bit of a further walk into town. Convenience stores nearby.

We really enjoyed our stay at Steph's place. Super convenient location for beach walks, and to get around Cairns and the surrounding areas in general. Super private with its own electric gate, driveway, and a lovely outside area for taking in the sounds of the tropical birds and chilling in the sun. Inside is super clean, and really comfortable, with everything you need. There is also a washer/dryer which we really appreciated as we were there for two weeks. Communication with Steph was really easy. Highly recommended if you are in the area!

Love Love Love This was a gorgeous getaway, peaceful and private. Although it was rainy and windy the whole visit we didn’t mind. The outlook is beautiful, the home rustic, and comfortable. It was a great place to unwind and get grounded. (We made rule, no TV) The addition of the heated spa was the perfect solution to cold, raining days. We painted, jigsaws, games, cards and read. We will be back.

The family and I had another perfect stay at Sunny's place. We have stayed at Sunny's several times now and everytime we stay here we are always greeted with a warm and friendly welcome by the hosts. The apartment is well maintained, clean and private. The apartment has everything you need to make your stay very comfortable. The location is also very peaceful if you just want to relax outside and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. We absolutely love staying here and we always look forward to our next stay at Sunny's.

We like our stay even though by mistake I canceled earlier arrangement place so after I found this place and soon he accepted my request and we love the home and the area. Thank you Shane and Sean
