I’ve stayed at Air BnBs all over the world and this is one of my favorites. Having now spent four days in Cuba, I can’t imagine doing it any way other than at Luca’s place. It is absolutely the most beautiful beach house with the best of views. I think Cuba would have been quite difficult to manage without Luca’s house and connections—Isabel and Laura are responsive, trustworthy, and kind. We were able to exchange money, get taxis, and have them cook dinner for us. This neighborhood is a slice of Cuban life. We made friends with the neighborhood coffee lady, dogs, and people. The house is perfectly appointed with a stocked fridge of beer, soda, and snacks. The water was great for snorkeling and there was a quietly assigned security person at our gate overnight—something we honestly probably didn’t even know we needed. This house is the way to see how people really live in Cuba. Thank you, Luca, Isabel, Laura, and everyone else for making the this a truly memorable trip.

This was our second year staying at Villababy and we are already making plans to return! The team at the house (Yaquelin, Laura and Mariano) strike a magical balance of bring totally invisible and discrete until you need them and they are right at hand. The house is great with many private nooks (even bigger than it appears) for variety or if parts of your group need their own space. A week was not enough time to try all of the restaurants within walking distance-- and Vedado, Centro and Habana Vieja are all within 10-20 minutes by affordable taxi too. In the middle of the diplomatic neighborhood, you will feel incredible safe and secure day and night. This trip several of our party were knocked down for a couple days by a stomach bug and we couldn't have felt more cared for. They made us a traditional Cuban recipe (malanga, banana and rice puree) to settle our stomachs, and offered to make as a special lunch also. This kind of special treatment cannot be beat nor understated.

We really like the air bnb, The caretaker Maria was very helpful and made good breakfasts for us. Her husband provided with great car transportation. The accommodations were good. The only complaint is that you have to go outside our rented space to get wi-fi reception because it was not possible inside the house. Also, the location of the home was different than the coordinates noted on the airbnb site. It was 2 niles away from where we thought we were and this made a difference since we were there for a triathlon. We thought it was easy 7 minute walk to marina but the walk more like like 25 minute walk to marina. Otherwise we a had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the town of Santa Fe.

Esta no es la primera vez que me hospedo con Ricardo, y cada vez supera mis expectativas. Son increíblemente atentos Carmen felito, Ricardo , Esposa asegurándose de que todo esté impecable y listo para mi llegada. El espacio es cómodo, limpio y bien equipado, ideal para pasarla a todo dar. La ubicación sigue siendo inmejorable, con fácil acceso a [lugares de interés, restaurantes. Me encanta, es lo que me hace volver, es como mi 4 vez y seguire visitando xq encuentro comodidad. la vista, la tranquilidad, etc.]. Definitivamente seguiré eligiendo este lugar en mis próximas visitas. ¡Gracias de nuevo por una experiencia excepcional!

Excelente lugar para disfrutar con amigos o pareja, amplia terraza con vistas. Lugar fresco lleno de arte y pasión.

Great welcoming and helpful and friendly attitude from Hector, in charge of welcoming us. The place is clean and the view on the sea is really beautiful. We had a very good moment there and discovered the true life in Cuba. Unforgettable.

¡Nuestra estancia en esta casa fue absolutamente increíble! La casa estaba impecable, muy limpia y bien cuidada. La atención por parte de los anfitriones fue de primera clase, siempre atentos y dispuestos a ayudar en todo momento. La casa es muy amplia, perfecta para relajarse y disfrutar con comodidad. El porche delantero es encantador, ideal para tomar un café por la mañana o simplemente relajarse. El patio también fue uno de nuestros lugares favoritos: espacioso y perfecto para pasar tiempo al aire libre. ¡Definitivamente volveremos en nuestra próxima visita!
