Vacation rentals with lake access in Byron Shire Council

Kellie’s place is just beautiful. So family friendly being single level, our dog had an amazing time being able to run around the whole outside of the house. Master bedroom is huge! The place is full of extra items you don’t even expect such as hand weights, yoga mats, kids table and colouring in. The pool was nice and big, we did laps everyday. Will be coming back with my fam if we visit Byron again.

We had such a lovely long weekend at this place. An absolutely stunning house, based on a beautiful property. Really great location to explore many spots. One of our guests accidentally left something behind, and Darren was kind enough to quickly have it posted back to us. Highly recommend!

Fantastic property - great for the family to enjoy time together and then spread out to different spaces to enjoy the pool (with a slide the kids loved), kids room with TV or spacious and light bed rooms. Location was great to walk to local shops, restaurants and cafes, easy walk to river to fish or paddle board and stroll to beaches. Min and Ryan were extremely helpful and left out games/toys/books for our kids after checking their ages. A fantastic stay and a lovely property.

Elaine communicates in a friendly and responsive manner. The house is immaculate. I loved the goodies (cookies, coffee, orange juice, milk etc) which Elaine kindly organised.

Bridgette was more than accommodating, responsive and generous. Made everything so easy. We had a great stay. A great area to get out and about in and also super comfy to stay at home and cook a feast. Highly recommend.

Great location, very quiet and peaceful. In walking distance to the local shops which was handy. Neat and tidy home with very comfy beds. Our host Kate was very friendly and helpful with enquires.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Vale. The space was stylish, peaceful, and perfect for a relaxing escape. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully set up, and the farm surroundings made it feel extra special. Highly recommend if you’re after a serene countryside retreat with a touch of luxury!

✨YOU CAN'T GET BETTER THAN THIS✨ River view & deck is great treat.. beautiful misty mornings & clear sunsets over the mangroves. The simple bungalow is all about the view, is spacious for a couple, easy to work in (and outside), and contains everything you may need. the salty Mangrove cafe (formally yum yum cafe) is an easy walk down the road (or along the beach). Peter and his team are welcoming, warm and friendly.

The apartment is beautiful, while the building is 80’s vintage the apartment has been beautifully refurbished, and has great amenity. Beds were great, wifi, laundry, kitchen all great. Location is central to the shops and overlooking the creek/river. Highly recommend for the value.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Stunning Beachfront Stay in Lennox Head We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautifully appointed beachfront property in Lennox Head. The home is incredibly well-equipped—virtually every amenity you could think of was provided, which made our stay comfortable and effortless. With three spacious bedrooms, two modern bathrooms, and air conditioning throughout, it was the perfect retreat for our group. The open-plan design and large balcony offered a lovely space to relax and enjoy the coastal breeze. We also loved the location—just a short walk to dozens of restaurants, cafes, shops, a grocery store, and even a chemist. Everything we needed was right at our fingertips. The host was gracious and very responsive, making the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. The only minor downside was a bit of bird droppings on the cars each morning—nature’s little reminder of how close we were to the beach! Otherwise, everything was truly top-notch. Highly recommended!

Accidentally I chose the right time of year to visit Kingscliff, which was wonderful!!- not too many people about, peaceful, calm and beautiful. Loved watching the Pelicans on the river sitting out in the garden area. The smell of the sea air delicious! The unit fantastic with so many useful amenities …. I didn’t want to leave!! . Steve very patient with the non technical brain!!

Very spacious apartment with great outlook. With the balcony area feels like a penthouse. Well stocked and made the stay with family very easy

Kelly is a very generous host who offers a charming and rustic country stay in her private residence. The property is exactly as described and very comfortable. Set in gorgeous tropical bushland offering absolute privacy. We look forward to staying again. Kelly’s communication is excellent and she is always available to answer any questions in a timely manner.

We had a wonderful stay at Golden Beach! The house and surrounding area are tranquil and filled with natural beauty. The beach and creek are just a short walk away, making it the perfect base for our trip!

Andreas place was perfect for a little getaway. We needed somewhere to stay while at the blues festival. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The only problem was the pot holes in the streets from Bangalow.

Me and my friends spend a lot of time at Airbnb’s - it’s kind of a hobby - so I think we have seen our fair share of places and can tell when something is nice . But this one was really outstanding! Julian and Amanda made it such an amazing space. It’s not just the look of the entire house, it’s all the small details that made our stay perfect! There’s more than enough towels, even heaps of small ones for the face, there’s bath salts, lavender bed spray, fresh eggs… the list could go on and on. Everything was thought of, which is something that’s not the case in every Airbnb. Julian was also super helpful with everything we needed. 10/10 recommend this place if you get the chance to stay there!
