Such an amazing stopover if your driving between kalgoorlie and Hyden, Ron and Laura’s farmstead is just perfect, we picked up shopping on the way (recommended) and cooked dinner in the fully equipped kitchen. Ron was concerned for us as the temperature was over 40 degrees but with the air con system and a fan in the bedroom we were fine. When it cooled we went with Ron to feed his rescue animals and birds, Ron is passionate and knowledgeable about his rescue animals and it was such a pleasure to see them and interact with them especially the kangaroos. Highly recommend you stopover here and enjoy this wonderful farmstead (kids would absolutely love it here) thanks Ron 😊

Laura was very helpful and accommodated us at the last moment. The house was clean and perfect for a family stay. The extra touches, like providing toothbrushes, body spray, and other essentials, were especially thoughtful and really helpful.

My family & I had a wonderful stay in Robert's place! It was a beautiful and peaceful surroundings. The house is clean and equipped with all the essentials best was that milk,drinks, shampoo & conditioner, toiletries were provided. Bed and linen were really comfortable. Highly recommended!

Came with full old house traits such as squeaky floor boards (not a complaint at all) Breakfast cereals and other complimentary items provided. Definitely recommend :) We booked last minute and Emma was really fast to respond us and confirm the booking! Really nice location, everything was perfect and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to cook so that’s perfect! Comfy bed and good WiFi, there is all you need for a short or a long stay.

It was a wonderful farmstay, the warmth of everyone there exceeded expectations, and the animals all around were amazing to see, from the peacocks to the kangaroos to the baby lamb and friendly dogs. It is of course important to mention that this is a "farm" stay, don't expect a hotel accommodation, or a classic motel/B&B. It's more of an experience, and something we'll remember for a long time very fondly, and hopefully get to visit again soon.
