Being able to wake up on a little piece of the bayou each morning and sit under the screened in porch was our favorite thing to do while we stayed. I didn’t want to go all the way to Alexandria, and was very surprised to find such an accommodating place much closer. David's home had everything we needed for a great stay. The beds were comfortable and the fenced in back yard was great for our pups. It is in a nice walkable neighborhood. There is plenty of stores and restaurants in the area. We spent some time touring the plantations and the beautiful Natchitoches Historic District, seeing the Sweet Magnolia movie house, St. Augustine Church and cemetery.

We were just passing through from the Gonzalez outdoor expo and needed a place to stop and rest. We were just girls traveling and it was very nice to have such a safe space to stop. Daniel was so responsive and made it so easy to book and helped us out in every way that he could!We will definitely use this spot as a halfway point on our way back down to Lamar Dixon. If I could have given it 10 stars I would have!
