We had a wonderful stay here as a group of 3. Although we only stayed for one night, we wished we had more time to enjoy the house and soak in the stunning views a bit longer. The house is set right in front of the ocean, with floor-to-ceiling glass windows on the lower level that offer stunning, uninterrupted ocean views. You can hear the soothing sound of the waves throughout the home, which made the experience even more relaxing. Everything in the house felt new, clean, and thoughtfully maintained. The space was bright and open, with a large TV and well-functioning AC and heating that made our stay extra comfortable. Just a quick note: while there are three bedrooms upstairs, only one has two twin beds—the other two are furnished with futons. Also, I found the shower water didn’t get quite hot enough, though it’s possible I wasn’t using the controls correctly despite turning the faucet fully to hot. Aside from that, everything was great, and I would definitely recommend this stay!

It was a very good stay. It was clean and tidy, and the host was caring everywhere. As soon as I asked, they answered me immediately, and I was not worried. It would have been nice if the cloths were on the shelves, for wiping the countertops, dishes, etc. Others were relaxing, the view was great, and the theater was well equipped!

Felt right at home and love the decorations especially garden. Enjoy our bath on the advance water system and is convenient having dryer washing machine in the unit. Highly recommend responsive host with clear guidelines.

Great place for a group of friends. Great location and the house is just amazing.

Nice place to stay and feel homey. walkable to convenience store nearby. There's car parking slot available for our rental car. Hope to give instruction upfront upon check-in to foreigner like us to separate the garbage will be highly appreciate. In overall, happy stay in the unit!!! :)

Staying at Mr. Nobuo's place is not just about great accomodation. It also means you will stay in a place which has lot to offer and in the same moment it's very peaceful and quiet. There is an onsen, a village shop, temple, shrines, giant tree like the one where Totoro lived. And above all there is Mr. Nobuo who is a great person and someone who knows the surrounding area like no one else. If you are looking for a true Kyushu countryside experience this is the place to go.
