I did not interact with the host very often because it was a short stay, but she was responsive to the few inquiries I had. The house was within walking distance of the venue, Third Room, which made exploring Asheville fun and purposeful as we meandered to the event we were in town for. It was also close enough for an inexpensive Uber back. The home was functional and friendly for our brief visit. I will be visiting Asheville often. This will be near the top of the list if I need room for three or more.

Lynn and Bill were amazing hosts! Such nice people and so willing to help and make sure you have the most amazing stay. Their place is beautiful and has more than what you need for an amazing stay. The view from the bedroom and living room is spetacular. If you are looking for a peaceful place, great location, comfortable and with a great price, this is it. No doubt about it. Thank you for hosting my family and I. My favorite part was the fire pit with the views of the mountains while my daughter had smores for the first time, will never forget that moment. The house itself was perfect for our family’s needs—we were visiting family one road over on the same ridge, and needed a clean, kid friendly home for sleeping and minor food prep. We honestly did not spend much time at the house as we spent our waking hours with family—and due to proximity, we didn’t have to drive all the way into Asheville for each night just to sleep! If you are not familiar with the Leicester area, it bears mentioning that the “neighborhood” roads in the area, including the drive to this house, are remarkably steep and often only one car wide. Specifics we loved: -Proximity to who we were visiting -Kid friendly interior -Great bathroom towels, super plush -Kitchen had what we needed Things I wish I knew before: -Check out procedures include stripping all linens and taking out the trash. We were on a tight departure schedule and these tasks feel like they should be included in the cleaning fee. -The road is a loop, best approached counterclockwise due to slope.

The Loft is located on a beautiful organic farm on the Ivy River. So peaceful! The hosts responded immediately and made sure we got in with no problems the first night. It is a spacious open floor plan with a large deck. The well equipped kitchen has lovely cabinetry and lighting. It is nicely decorated with several big and comfy leather couches and chairs. Highly recommend by my daughter and her family who stayed there.
