The cottage was as described, very comfortable and very well equipped. The setting is quite and peaceful and was close to the wineries we wanted to visit. The pit fire was well used and the internal fire warmed the house quickly

The photos don't do it justice. The place was immaculate and what I would personally describe as luxury without being to bougie. We felt right at home and there was plenty of space. Great place for a get together or group holiday.

This place was outstanding! We couldn’t fault one thing! Every aspect of this home was immaculately presented. The cleanliness was 100% and the towels/linens were of luxurious quality. Would not bother staying elsewhere when in Mudgee. Thank-you for providing such a beautiful place to relax on our stay xx

We absolutely loved our stay at River Ranch! Such an incredible property. Peaceful and lots to do and beautifully styled. Wonderful place to spend a couple of nights - we loved the fire pit and going down to the river, and enjoying the lovely scenery.

We have stayed at Samantha’s three times and have loved it every time. Great location, great space for families and pet friendly. Would stay again.

I couldn’t recommend Claire and Josh’s beautiful home enough! The house was pristine, the linens were fresh, the location is fantastic as it’s walking distance to the centre of Mudgee whilst also being on a quiet street and their hospitality was impeccable. The house has a great air conditioning throughout all the rooms so the house remained cool during the hot days. Claire and Josh were very thoughtful and it made our stay that much more enjoyable. To anyone visiting Mudgee, we couldn’t recommend this property enough!

Jenni’s place was just what we needed. Comfortable beds, beautiful surrounds to watch the sunset each night. Just the right distance from Mudgee, wineries and Gulgong. Fire with the stars above and new bought wine in our hands, we didn’t want to be anywhere else!! Lawson Hill was perfect and would recommend to anyone.

We were two families which included 4 kids, all under 10 years of age came for the long weekend, driving down from Sydney. I was initially doubtful if the hideout on the hill would be ideal for families with small kids. But it all changed when we drew up the hil...! What a stunning place! A rustic feel but amazingly cozy! Remote but close to everything! Alone but surrounded by a lot of animal life. We could listen to the cows and sheep from the next hill. Sitting outside every night was bliss, gazing at the stars…. spotting Venus, Mars, and Jupiter… The house itself was lovely, the fairy lights in each room made it feel special. The small bridge with a clear stream flowing beneath all adds up to the beauty. Driving past the orchard, the steep ascent on a rocky gravel path was fun. The kids loved the adventure, walking down to the bridge and sprawling the grasslands that surround them. I am sure, we will be back again in winter. Thanks, Janene for being such a wonderful host.
