Welcome to our Hunchy Cottage located on two acres in the foothills of the scenic Blackall Range. Just 1 hour from Brisbane the cottage offers privacy, gorgeous views and a peaceful country feel. Only minutes from the charming villages of Montville and Palmwoods, a great range of eating options and just 20 minutes to beautiful Sunshine Coast beaches. The cottage is separate from our home and is your own while you stay. You will enjoy great access to all that the Sunshine Coast has to offer.

Our place is on the river in a peaceful residential block, close to all amenities. We expect our guests to be quiet & leave the unit as found, (please do not move furniture or items) 1st floor (via stairs) within a complex of 9. There is a single lock up garage - H1960mm x W2400mm. Enjoy access to the private jetty... swimming, self equipped fishing Duporth Tavern & Ocean St dining precinct are across the road, with Cotton Tree Beach, Sunshine Plaza & Picnic Point just a short walk away.

The beach house on the hill

Our little studio is attached to our house, therefore you might hear us from time to time. It’s a beach style place , where you can relax and enjoy your breakfast on your own private patio. Please note that there is a simple outdoor kitchen, with sink ,BBQ, fridge, kettle and microwave. You have a private entrance via the front yard ( as seen on one of the photos). Our neighbourhood is quite , and you might see some of our beautiful wildlife, like colourful Rainbow Lorikket and kangaroos

Our private Guest House is just a short stroll from beautiful Mudjimba beach offering you a relaxing romantic getaway or a creative space to work. One bedroom with Queen bed, desk, crisp linen, comfortable lounge, TV, dining area and window seat. A full kitchen includes a coffee maker, although we highly recommend the local cafes and restaurants which are an easy walk away. Newly renovated studio is seperate to the main house and has it’s own entrance and is complete with its own kitchenette, TV and private bathroom. Suitable for 2 adults (and kids on request) Tea and Instant Coffee are available for your convenience along with basic condiments for cooking. This private area is 1km walk from the beach and is great for exploring the area with your partner, family or just away on business, than this is the place for you.
