Cabin vacation rentals in Bruny Island

What a beautiful place to stay. Love the stone cottage, so peaceful with everything you could need. So much wildlife right at the back door but best part was sitting on the back deck quietly watching the white wallabies each night. The double spa was relaxing and the cottage was a great location - close to the beach and attractions. Liz was a fantastic host and very responsive to any questions we had. She provided lots of prior advice about what to do and see which was very helpful in planning our first trip to Bruny. We will definitely be back!

Such a lovely spot to have had the pleasure of staying at! All of the small details make it feel even more like home, and especially the sauna and hot tub being highlights. The little garden and plants throughout were also delightful, along with the neighbours chickens who made a special appearance 😃

Such a peaceful and relaxing place to end our Tassie trip. Gorgeous little cottage in a beautiful area. Thanks so much to Karen for being so friendly and making us feel at home. The kids really enjoyed picking your yummy fresh fruit with you and playing frisbee and finska on the lawn. Definitely recommend!

A beautiful accommodation, and very helpful host.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - it was as private, peaceful and relaxing as we could have asked for! We spent our time out on the deck or gathered around the fire as a family - enjoying the sounds of birds, star gazing and watching lightening on a stormy night. We had it all! The kids enjoyed the novelty of the tv/dvd and being more conscious of our power use. We took a stack of our own dvds and board games. Overall, an absolutely wonderful 5 night stay! Loved exploring the local area as well. Great Easter lunch at the River Run lodge and wonderful walks from Cockle Creek. Highly recommended.

Charlie’s Point was in a fabulous location—it felt really private despite there being nearby houses, and is surrounded by lots of beautiful beaches. We loved the design of the property which felt like a larger tiny house. The warmth in the bedrooms from the sunlight upon waking was pretty magic! Thanks for the stay, Rachael!

The property had great views across the water from the front veranda and natural vegetation from the back yard. House fully functional with a great firebox with abundant wood! A lovely experience and we would be happy to stay again!

What a beautiful location this was! Very private & secluded. It was raining, so we snuggled up with the fire going and just relaxed! Loved the recommendations for local places, we checked most of them out 🥰 The place was super clean, cosy and you felt way way way up in the sky. The food provided was insanely generous and yummy! Fabulous location, our boys loved playing outside, so much space and nature

We stayed at Shipwrecked cabin for 3 nights at Christmas and felt so relaxed, it was like we’d been there a week!! Absolutely what we needed after a hectic year. Stunning views of Adventure Bay, fantastic walks and the beach mere metres from the front door. We enjoyed a dip or few in the cleanest, albeit chilliest water - but kept going back for more because we loved it so much. We’ll be back for another stay!!

Our only holiday of the year is over the Christmas period and this lovely home didn’t disappoint. Warm and cosy with quality fixtures, integrated dishwasher and eye catching stone feature wall, reverse cycle air-conditioner and a free-standing wood-heater for the cooler months . A sun-catching aspect with views to Adventure Bay in the distance, it was so quiet. Wallabies hopping around the home and plenty of bird life, if one can’t relax here from the hustle and bustle of business and work life we would be very surprised. A welcoming and responsive host who made recommendations regarding the local area, a lovely lady who ensured our stay was perfect. Nice clean premises and a smooth easy booking. Highly recommended and better than we imagined. Book it!!

This is a truly spectacular stay. If the immaculate architecturally designed cabins are not enough for you, the home-made provisions will seal the deal. This is better than any regular airbnb you’ll stay in, a lovely experience to savour.

An absolute gem of a property, we instantly fell in love with the location and the living space. The deck and BBQ were enjoyed as well as the little track down to a private beach on the river. Julie was really easy to contact with and gave a great local itinerary which we followed to a t. We loved our 3 night stay, a perfect base for exploring the Huon Valley and beyond.

Wow, this Airbnb was incredible! It was definitely one of the best places I’ve stayed. My partner and I were able to really connect with nature in a way we never have before, and it was so relaxing. The warm, fresh bread every morning was such a treat, and the specialty loaf on the second day was delicious! The little touches like the comfy robes and Epsom salts for the bath made everything feel extra special. Honestly, this place felt like a big, cozy hug. Just a couple of things to keep in mind that we didn’t think of: there were a few bees around, so if you have allergies, you might want to be careful. Also, there’s another Airbnb behind The Hide in the distance, and the guests there were flying a drone over the property towards the ocean a few times. It wasn’t a big deal, but just something to note if you’re outside or using the outdoor shower. We’ll definitely be back. This place was 10/10. Thank you so much for such an amazing stay!
