Our farmhouse has air conditioning, wood fire with wood supplied in winter, fully equipped kitchen, dining room, linen & towels are provided, shower, toilet & laundry, living room with TV, outside area including gas bbq, outdoor setting, & children's playground. The chalet was easy to find & so close to Wave Rock & the town itself. It’s very clean & kitchen is equipped to cook simple meals. We experienced a beautiful sunset just outside our cabin & the most amazing stars & constellations when it turned dark. There were about a gazillion stars up in the sky just above us. We sat outside in 7°C autumn weather for abt an hour as it was so magical! Would definitely return to stay here next time we’re in Hyden.

Chalet 07 - Wave Rock Short Stay

The chalet was perfect for our stopover. Super comfortable, clean and tastefully decorated. Had everything we needed including a big screen tv, air con, outdoor setting, great kitchen. Location is just out of town and in between town and Wave Rock. The veranda looks out of farmland and is very peaceful. Our camper broke down as we were leaving and Chloe, the owner, came straight over to help us. She let us store the camper over Easter and arranged a local mechanic to help. We couldn’t have had a better experience at Wave Rock Short Stay.

I was pleasantly surprised by how nice and clean the chalet was! :) full amenities, minutes to the wave rock, proactive host, which made my stay very enjoyable. Would definitely stay with Wave Rock Short Stay again when in Hyden! 😊
