John's place is a beautiful small home in front of winery .. peaceful and place i will go back to when in the area. Would definitely go back for our family gateaway...the house is clean and tidy with a warm touch. Also not to forget to meantion we had a bottle of local nice red wine..! Thanks John. .. what a great host.

WOW. What a delight! This stay is beyond 5 stars. Kellie and Ben have NAILED hospitality and hosting with this glamp offering. We stayed 3 nights thinking it might be a bit much but so pleased we did as we were able to really relax and enjoy all amenities, including the hot-plumbed outdoor bush bath for an afternoon soak amongst the trees, and sitting at our campfire each evening to stargaze in the quietness. Spotless amenities, including the fresh-flowered and fragranced loo, plus steaming hot private outdoor shower and lekky blanket on the comfy bed made for a very luxurious and enjoyable few nights. Quality linens and generous towelling, with so many additional and unexpected thoughtful things really confirms that Kellie cares about her guest experience. Anything you think you might want or need, Kellie is a step ahead and has already provided it. Ben provided generous firewood and we totally digged the gentle wandering hellos from the properties menagerie of animals. 6 stars 10/10

Beautiful location, lovely hearing the sound of the ocean so close by. It was smaller than we expected, but we did enjoy the smallness of it as that’s all we needed and it felt cozy. There is another villa right next door so not completely private as we were expecting, however, wasn’t an issue to us as we still had our own space and small alfresco area which made making dinners outside quite nice.

Cactus Cottage was an ideal spot to spend our week in Margaret River. The house was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The kitchen was well equipped and we cooked many full meals there. The outdoor patio/garden space was beautiful and relaxing. We appreciated having the floor fans as the weather was very warm in the first half of our stay, and the fans were essential to cool the house. We used the washing machine multiple times, and the outside drying rack had our clothes dry in hours. The cottage is in a quiet location in a beautiful, walkable neighborhood. We could walk to the grocery store in about 12 minutes and for coffee in about 15. It was a short drive to the trails and the beach. We will stay at Cactus Cottage again in the future.

We stayed for my friend’s 40th birthday girls’ getaway! We loved this quiet retreat away from the hustle and bustle of home. We enjoyed the peaceful natural surroundings, the nearby walk trail, and we just loved the clean, cosy and inviting home! It was the perfect place to spend a quiet weekend away eating, drinking, and resting! Great location near restaurants and bars too! Will definitely be recommending to friends and family! This is a very clean and relaxing place! The hosts have put a lot of thought into decorating the space, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere. I especially loved the plants and the hammock—my husbby even took a nap on it! Luciana and David were incredibly thoughtful, providing us with a bottle of wine as a welcome gift and even stocking the cabinet with food containers for guests to use. They also went out of their way to help us set up the baby cot, which we truly appreciated. Communication was smooth, and they responded to messages very quickly. If you’re looking for a comfortable and well-cared-for place to stay, I highly recommend this one!

Staying in Dunsborough at Janette’s house for the second time we loved it so much the first time. Place was exactly the same, so easy to setup and live like you’re at home. Good kitchen and bathrooms, washer and dryer are such a positive, particularly when staying for a week! Lovely quiet street and easy to drive to all the local area. Less than 5 min to Coles, coffee, liquorland and shops. Bunker Bay is our favourite beach and it’s less than a 15 min drive. We left already thinking of when we’ll be coming back! Our kids loved the space and a peaceful neighbourhood. Janette made check in and leaving a breeze and we’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend! 😊
