Family-friendly vacation rentals in Brisbane City

I recently spent 3 weeks at Kelly’s place while my husband was recovering from a major surgery. It was a very stressing time for me, but coming “home” to Kelly’s peaceful place every evening made all the difference to my sanity. The space is very large and it also has everything you need for a short or extended stay. There is a very close restaurant, only about a 3 minute walk away. The unit is about a 10-15 min walk to Stones Corner. I really enjoyed staying at Kelly’s place and I highly recommend it. It is much larger than a motel room or even a one bedroom apartment at many of the nearby units/accommodation. I thank Kelly for providing such a lovely, comfortable and inviting space to stay. I would definitely stay again.

Dianne was the perfect host and the unit had absolutely everything we needed and more - from lovely extras to make us feel at home and no need to rush out to the shops. The most comfortable beds and pillows and very convenient to Sleeman Sports Complex and close to the city. Would highly recommend and would stay again. Thank you Dianne

What a fantastic place to stay. Everything you need for a short or long stay. Public transport on your door step. Ferry not far and lovely cafe's. Aotea is a dream, cozy, tidy, welcoming and peaceful. Definitely booking again!!

It was a home away from home. Came to the place just before the cyclone hit. We were in a safe space and the hosts were extremely resourceful. Our kids loved the place- with all the toys and stuff. I did not unpack much of my vessels, utensils and cutlery because most of it was there. A big shout-out to Ruth and their grandchildren who helped us through while David and Cecelia were away.

Easy check in and a great space for our holiday in the city. Walking distance to everything and the train station right across the road. We were very comfortable in this lovely classic apartment.

We have stayed here several times now. This was our 5th or 6th visit? Always a great spot, clean convenient with everything you need. Marguerite is a great host. Will keep coming back for sure!

Great location. Restaurants close by. The river was a short walk. There was even an umbrella we could borrow.

Stephen's place was the perfect homely stay we could have asked for. We had to book last minute as our long term accommodation move in date had been extended. Stephen was quick to respond and accommodating to our requests. The house felt like a home and had everything we could have asked for: dog bed, high chair, kids table and chairs, toys galore and a very well equipped kitchen with a stocked fridge and pantry. The location was very close to The Great Western, making Grocery shopping easy. Overall it was the perfect accommodation with an amazing host.

Victoria's place was fantastic- easy access to Sleeman Sports centre and perfect for a walk along the beach. Plenty of places to eat and just a 30min drive into South Bank. The unit was spotless and had everything you need for a short stay. The outside space was excellent.

Jacks place was the perfect setting for our creative family. The eclectic choices in decor and art made us feel right at home. With a wonderful outdoor entertainment area, it truly felt like a villa pool. Easy to walk to quaint cafes and shops or head into the city by train. We would definitely stay here again. 💚 Samantha the artist

Dal, was very friendly & responsive. It was clean & tidy clutter free, great accommodation close to everything in walking distance.

A tranquil spot in the bush, that lets you wake up to the sounds of birds, I greatly enjoyed my time here. The host were polite and unobtrusive and it was clean with a decent amount of room. While we did spend most of our time out and about, going back to the Airbnb felt like coming back to peace and simplicity and would always feel like a welcome place to rest at the end of a long day.

Great location. Close to shops and restaurants, and just a short stroll down to the esplanade or across to the train station. Prefect for anyone visiting family in the area.

Super cute and a truely lovely secluded experience. The train station was literally at the end of the street but we never heard any train action. We found ourselves wanting to get back to the studio to relax in their studio. The entrance is an exotic Brisbane forest experience, twas brilliant :D such a shame we had to leave

First visit to Brisbane for us Lisa's unit was just perfect. Easy walk to South Brisbane or South Bank or you catch the train from Roma Street station and it's one and two stops respectively. Football stadium close by, we didn't actually go there but we seen all the Bronco fans streaming out of Roma Street Station and walking to the stadium. Will stay here again next time.

Always a wonderful weekend away with my teenage sons when we stay at the Villa

We highly recommend staying at Amanda and Craig’s beautiful Samford Lakes cottage. We had the best weekend getaway! We got to bring our little bulldog along which made it even more special. There is so much to do aswell. We spent the day playing tennis, swimming in the massive pool, rowing the boat along the lake and even having pizza out of their poolside pizza oven. We loved chatting with Amanda and Craig and hearing Craig’s stories with a glass of wine and a freshly cooked pizza. The room was absolutely stunning too. It was very spacious and looked over the lake and the lillypads. You can even see the cows across the water. We absolutely loved using the massive bath, waking up an having a coffee on the huge veranda overlooking the water, playing board games by the fireplace and running around the property with our fur baby. John was also incredible and gave great recommendations and helped us set up some activities. Couldn’t recommend it high enough. Can’t wait to return.

We loved our stay - it was very clean and had everything you needed (and more!) in the apartment. Close to good transport links or about a 20 min walk into the CBD. We would definitely return!

What a wonderful place! You feel like you're in the middle of the nature with all the birds and parrots in the trees. It's a truly special place that Lil and Stephen have created, with a wonderful garden and pool. We didn't want to leave. Paddington is just around the corner, with lovely shops and restaurants, and it's also very easy to get to the city. If we ever find ourselves in Brisbane again, we'll definitely come back here. Lil and Stephen are incredibly kind and helpful people! Thank you so much for everything!

we have stayed at L J's property a couple of times when we visit family in Australia. We always try to book here first because of the location and the privacy and comfort . It has everything you need for a nice comfortable stay. Thanks LJ for being a brilliant host .

Flasta was a great host. Apartment was close to the hospital that we could walk to our appointment. Flasta was able to accommodate us to park there longer after check out. Apartment had everything we needed.

This was the best Air BnB we have stayed at . Donna was a magnificent host . Lots of wonderful personal touches ! Homemade cake and fruit salads . Would definitely stay here again
