The Barn Annexe

A very light and airy lovely space - a new Simba standard double mattress which I believe is really comfortable. This is a peaceful location but very near to the Mall, the Wave and the Zoo and only 6 miles from town - a perfect nights sleep on a SIMBA mattress and supplied with large fluffy white towels and everything you need for a night away from home . We also have a new TV with iplayer and Netflix’s, new washing machine and a decent non stick frying pan.

Jane and Paddy were really welcoming and helpful, respectfully giving me my own space but available for a chat and a cuppa if you felt like it. I’m not used to staying in people’s homes, but I felt comfortable from the first. The room itself has views over gardens with mature trees, the house is in a lovely, peaceful area, but within just 5 mins walking distance of some very nice cafés…and charity shops! I’d stay again if in the area and strongly recommend!

Lyn and John were fantastic hosts - being generous with lively conversation but also providing options for privacy as desired. I paid a reduced rate due to some regulars being out of town, but they are already providing an excellent value classic bed and breakfast service with homestay personal touches. Lyn offers a full cooked breakfast and cereals to all guests, but was happy to make adjustments to tastes and needs. John also makes a tasty coffee from the espresso machine. I would be glad to return if I am able to find a moment when they are not fully booked!

Amber is lovely, I was supposed to stay for three nights but I got sent to another job so I only stayed Monday night she very kindly reimbursed the two nights I didn't stay, thank you. lovely Cottage my room was nice and comfy the Bathroom was spotless. thanks again Amber.

Very nice new townhouse, a short walk from cribbs causeway shopping mall, vue cinema, costa, greggs etc and an all day carvery in the other direction. The 1 and 2 buses from Bristol city centre stop close by. The room has a really nice sole use bathroom next to it. Paifung is a very nice, friendly and considerate host.
