Nice house tastefully decorated and large windows to enjoy the splendid view of the fjords. Two small black sand beaches border the house. An excellent stop, we regret not being able to stay longer! We would highly recommend it!

We had a lovely and comfortable stay at Ellen's place. The lodge is beautifully and tastefully done. It has all the things needed for a comfortable stay.. The painting room is a nice touch, kids loved it- Thank you! It's a pity that we missed meeting Ellen in person and having more lively interaction with her and maybe getting closer to the pet horses ( kids were looking forward to it...) , but guess in her absence these aren't managed by anyone else.. Overall, it was a great stay, thank you again, Ellen for letting us stay in your beautiful home.. And best wishes for your speedy recovery.. Regards , Rachna

Cosy accomodation. More spacious than it seemed on the fotos. Owner ist very helpful and friendly. It was a pity that we could just stay for one night.

Do not hesitate , this is a one of a kind gem! I loved the place and the host is amazingly responsive!! 10 out of 10 on the location , beauty , and welcoming atmosphere. Sóley was incredible in every way. I cant recommend this place enough.

We had a great stay! The place was exactly as described – very clean, cozy and equipped with everything you need. The location is very quiet, just what we were after. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back. Thank you for everything!

Great place. Very spacious and lovingly furnished and decorated. Don’t be scared by the gravel path leading to the property. Once you get there, you will be rewarded with very serene surroundings outside, and a beautiful house inside.

A great house in Hofn. We loved it and we were so comfortable that we would have liked to stay longer. It's not the typical AirBnB business-accommodation. It looks like the royal house where the owners live with all their comforts and belongings. You feel like you're at a friend's house who has lent you their home for a few days.
