Claude was very responsive and helpful in his instructions of how to find the property and parking space. The accommodation was very homely, comfortable and had everything we needed (including binoculars!) The view from the lounge was outstanding, as it is right on the beach front. There is loads to do and see in De Panne. The shopping centre is about a 10 minute walk, with a supermarket there. There are lots of bars and restaurants nearby. We enjoyed a meal at Azzurro pizza place that's a few apartments down, and Colosseo a bit further on the promenade. Summer 16 is also great for frozen Margaritas, waffles and chocolate covered strawberries. Thank you Claude for sharing this little piece of heaven!

We really enjoyed our stay at Hans and Ingrid's place! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed and given clear instructions and tips for our weekend. As a gift, there were some goodies on the table. The room was spotless and everything we needed was present. The garden is very hospitably furnished, so you always had a nice place to have breakfast or enjoy the beautiful view both in the morning and in the evening. Ingrid is super sweet, cheerful and always committed, but also gives space. This listing was definitely an addition to make our weekend memorable!

The highlights are: - absolute calm (and I am very sensitive to noise): small residence, at the end of a dead-end street, you will only see a few walkers passing by - The impression of immersion in nature (ground floor surrounded by a garden of dune plants) - Proximity to the sea and Westhoek Nature Reserve, 200 m away - The sober and harmonious decor - Kitchen equipment - The many storage possibilities on shelves, easy to check that you haven't forgotten anything at checkout! - The cleanliness of the apartment - The proximity to the center of La Panne, 15 minutes' walk - Easy access to the highway, 15 minutes away We're still looking for weak points ;) Added to this is the kindness of Louis and Barbara, who always responded promptly to our requests. Great place to stay,all very easy walking to shops,train station and into the centre itself. Easy parking in garage which fitted our Toyota RAV4 in without a problem. the house itself is very open plan & very well appointed with everything you need including aircon. Two minor things is first sound travels in such a open planned area all the way up (our son could here us talking in his top floor bedroom) so we had to be aware when in kitchen, also trains do pass through regular but this stops at certain time and we wasn't disturbed at night. These were minor issues and would definitely use again.

The house is great! Beautifully renovated and the amenities are modern and practical. It has everything you need - bed linens, dishes, towels, all kinds of kitchen appliances and kitchen accessories (dishwasher tabs, detergent, rags, dish towels and even a basic set for cooking: oil, vinegar, pepper, salt, coffee, tea...). The rooms are also very nice, the beds are very comfortable. For very small children, the stairs may be a bit steep, but for adults it is fine. There's even a garden with a terrace. The neighborhood is very nice, a bakery and a butcher are nearby and a supermarket is also not far. On foot it takes about 20 minutes to get to the center, the path goes through small streets and is a nice walk. Parking was unproblematic, we were able to stop in front of the house for unloading and afterwards we drove the car into the parking garage. Thanks for the 3 beautiful days in Bruges and the warm welcome!

Very good stay. The accommodation was very satisfactory with an unobstructed view of the sea. Only small downsides: the bathroom which is not at the height of the rest of the apartment and the dust under the beds. For the rest, it was perfect.

We had a great time in Knokke-Heist. The apartment was located in a quiet area within walking distance of the beach. Newly renovated and super equipped, the apartment offered us everything a family with a child needs even on days with bad weather. We felt very comfortable and Emmanuelle explained everything to us in advance, so we quickly found the key to the apartment and could enjoy the time. We can only recommend this experience. Thank you dear Vanessa for your incredibly beautiful cottage. It is perfectly equipped with everything you need - and that makes it so easy and comfortable to spend the holidays there. The kitchen is so well equipped that you can take care of yourself there as at home. We all slept as well as in no vacation home. A broken light bulb was replaced within 5 minutes. Upon our arrival, small gifts were waiting for us, which we were very much looking forward to. The house is nice big, cozy and beautiful. The area is very quiet, which we liked very much - and centrally located, so you can quickly drive to other towns by car. We also didn't have to buy beach toys, which was also available. On the day of departure, we were allowed to stay a little longer, which helped us a lot. We will be happy to come back, it was the best stay we ever had. Thank you very much dear Vanessa.

The apartment was clean, spacious and welcoming. The four of us were very comfortable and if back in the area would want to stay again. Excellent location, walking distance to everything, but very peaceful. Jeremy was super responsive and attentive to any questions we had and we would absolutely recommend the host and property.

We had a wonderful stay in Paula's apartment. The flat is very tastefully decorated, which immediately made us feel at home. The kitchen is equipped with all the essentials, and there is a great shower in the bathroom. The living room has a wonderful view of the sea, wonderful to stay there. And in the bedroom there is a very comfortable bed; we slept great there. Within 5 minutes' walking distance, there is a neighborhood where you can park for free. The coastal tram is nearby, and it is also beautiful walking to Ostend city along the water, or along the beautiful dike. Paula and Godefroid are friendly hosts, who will provide you with all the necessary information in time to make your stay as pleasant as possible. We can only recommend this beautiful flat, and we would like to come back ourselves.

We had a fantastic stay in Rolanor's apartment. Communication went very smoothly and there was very clear info 48 hours for reception. The apartment is super cozily furnished (with a nice Christmas tree and Christmas lights on the terrace) and very clean. The welcome was extremely warm, even though no one was there. But there was cava cold with a box of mercitjes and a thank you card. You really have everything in stock, the kitchen is very user-friendly, in the bathroom and toilet you have more than enough towels and in the bedrooms there were also many extras ready from bedding and pillows. Really great and absolutely recommended. We think this accommodation is the best we have ever rented. Thank you Rolanor for this wonderful stay! We'd love to come back to you.

The location is amazing, close to everything you would like to see in Bruges, but on a private street so it's quiet an calm. The apartment is located in a new residential area. The beach is quickly and easily accessible. The center of Oostende can be reached by ferry, by car or by bus. Unfortunately, there is still no baker in the immediate vicinity (but one is supposed to open soon). The nearest supermarket is within walking distance (approx. 15 minutes) or by car. Due to the fact that the entire residential area is still partly under construction, you have to expect construction noise during the week. The apartment is very well equipped and you immediately feel comfortable and at home. Everything was very clean and tidy. The beds are new and the bedrooms were also cozy and clean. The shower is new, ground level and large. The open plan kitchen is rather small, but good and equipped with everything. There is a nice balcony. The existing shops and restaurants are upscale. Unfortunately, we only had 4 days, but we enjoyed this time very much. We can definitely recommend this apartment.
