Family-friendly vacation rentals in Brașov

Was a little hard to get hold of the host at first but we did make a same day booking so I’m sure she was not expecting anyone that day hence why it took so long to respond . The place is at the very top of a very steep hill which is a uneven road so be careful when driving up . The place is a little tired and the furniture could do with a little updating and kick of paint on the outside etc. saying that it did not spoil our two days away the kitchen is very well stocked and comfy beds and large bath towels . We would definitely stay again if we are ever in the area

Great place to stay close to the city and plenty of places to explore. The dining options were fantastic and it was close to attractions like Bran’s Castle

A perfect place for a family vacation, spacious, clean and with a lot of thought given to all the little details including spacious rooms, abundant showers, heated pool, hot tub, barbecue, fully equipped kitchen (there are 2 refrigerators), huge garden and beautiful views. The villa really has everything you need for a perfect extended family vacation. A level of equipment and cleanliness similar to a 5-star hotel. Highly recommended The owner of the villa is very kind and very helpful.

Andrei is a brilliant host who was incredibly generous. He made us feel very welcome and his organic eggs from the farm were a real treat. Despite the rain, the beautiful views and natural hot tub - heated by the plentiful supply of cut wood - were a delight. His dog Rolly was a great addition to the welcome team as well! Overall, it is a beautiful place to stay. We couldn’t recommend staying here more!

Great place, right in the middle of Brasov.

What a great location. We were surrounded by half the things lonely planet said we should see and a five minute walk from the main square. PLUS a parking space!!!!!! Brilliant!

Huran's place is really great. The apartment is in a great location for transportation and close to grocery stores. Huran's friend met us on the train station platform, helped us with our luggage and showed us around. The apartment is clean and has everything you will need for your stay. The host communicates quickly if you have questions. I would stay here again if I return to Brasov. Brasov is a great base for touring everything around.

Claudia’s place is very nice, we had the entire house at our disposal, well equipped. we went hiking because near the place there are many hiking routes and in the evening we played games in the green garden and made bbq. We even found on the opposite side of the road a trout farm, we bought some fresh fish and had a great dish! Thank you!

Thank you for the stay in your lovely home. The beds were extremely comfy, just what we needed after the over night train from Budapest. Bathrooms were spotless, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook for family. My daughter enjoyed the TV. Would highly recommend.

We stayed for two nights and felt like home. Great place to work remotely from, big enough for 4 adult, one toddler and a dog. Our two-year-old loved the stairs going down to the kitchen, which kept her entertained. The parking place was a big help and the possibility of charging an EV car was a big bonus (extra cost and check with the host in advance if possible).

Our stay at Darie's apartment was a great experience. The apartment was clean and cozy and it literally had everything that we needed during our stay. Totally recommended!

We had a great time in the cottage. 5 adults, 2 children and 2 dogs. The area is very beautiful and there are gorgeous and easy trails in Moeciu de Sus. Granny is very nice and gives a plus to the location. We'll be back!

This place was amazing, it’s a very beautiful house! We had everything we could possibly need. Checking in and out was very easy, there’s a small market nearby very well stocked and if you need something more there is a Lidl reachable by car in 5 minutes. And last but not least: the area is truly beautiful and peaceful and there is something to enjoy for everyone. Thank you for having us !

Stayed for a few nights and it was fab. The place is exactly as described. The location is stunning. Diana is a fab host and everything was straightforward and easy. The location of the house is worth the visit to Bran. Stunning views. The property has everything you need and was immaculately kept. Wouldn't worry about the road up to the property as we managed fine in a 2 wheel drive hire car and it snowed. Will visit again if we are ever in the Bran area.

I can’t say enough positive things about Gabriela the host and her property. It was beautiful, tons of space, clean, and made you feel right at home. It was right in the heart of the old city so it was easy to get around. Gabriela was wonderful to deal with, super responsive and went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of. I can’t recommend this property enough. Thank you, Gabriela! My family and I had a great time and we thank you for all you did for us, especially to make sure we had a great holiday. We will absolutely be coming back!

I had a wonderful stay in Brașov! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location was great—close to the main attractions yet in a quiet area, ideal for relaxing after a day of exploring. The host was friendly and responsive, making sure I had everything I needed. I highly recommend staying here and would definitely return on my next visit to Brașov!

A welcoming and good host

Beautiful house with lots of bedrooms, all with ensuite bathrooms. The surrounding area including the sauna and hot tub was shared with the other houses around, which wasn't as private as one might like, and you had to ask the host for use of the sauna/hot tub in advance. That said he was very responsive and also pre-heated everything for us every time, which was nice. The closest supermarket is 10 minutes away by car. All in all we had a very nice stay.

The absolutely best place we stayed in. So peaceful and quiet and in the authentic interior in the meantime. You feel like in the museum. And it was interesting to hear, that this apartment previously actually was a museum. Goga was very friendly and gave us a lot of local recommendations despite he was really busy with his household. It was the only place where I felt pity about I didn't spent more time there. Great option for escape from the city. Highly recommend!

I had the most wonderful stay at Bogdana’s Airbnb! From the moment I arrived, it was clear that Bogdana puts an incredible amount of heart and effort into making this place special. She was a fantastic host—so helpful, welcoming, and a pleasure to talk with. The house itself was spacious, with two large bedrooms and super comfortable beds, making it the perfect retreat. The backyard was an absolute gem—large, luscious, and perfect for relaxing or playing with my dog, who was welcomed with open arms. The kitchen was spacious and well-equipped, making meal prep easy and enjoyable. The location is unbeatable! Just 3 minutes from a supermarket, and the town is surrounded by breathtaking mountain views and wild forests. It’s also less than an hour from amazing hiking destinations, making it ideal for nature lovers. The care Bogdana has put into this space is evident in every detail, and I truly appreciated it. I can’t recommend this stay enough—I’m already looking to returning soon!

If you’re going to. Is it Dracula Castle this is the place to stay, so clean, so big, so comfortable!! And walking distance from the castle, easy to find . Just topped off a great visit. Romania is so much better, cleaner and modern than you would ever expect!!

Highly recommend! We really enjoyed Sebastian's house. The house was much bigger than expected. The pictures do not convey how spacious it is. The house is sweet, cozy and super clean. Everything was organized for us, the beds, the linens, the kitchen and the living room, the yard and the garden. Sebastian gave us lots of recommendations on restaurants and places to visit. Responded quickly to any questions we had. It was a great pleasure, many thanks to Sebastian and his wife for a perfect and pleasant stay.
