A Home Away from Home! Karen and John's place truly feels like a home away from home. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome, from the handwritten note to the thoughtful touches like snacks, water, fresh farm eggs, milk, and butter. We've stayed in many Airbnbs over the years, but no other hosts have done anything quite like this. That’s what sets this place apart from the rest. Everything in the home is designed to make guests feel comfortable and cared for. It means so much to families like ours, especially when we don’t have family in the country. And it doesn’t end there- the tour of the farm, and seeing how Karen and John are restoring a piece of Canadian history, is something everyone should experience. Meeting the alpacas, horses, and hens filled our hearts in ways that go beyond words. It’s the kind of experience you’ll cherish for a lifetime. We’ll be back in the summer for more!

I had the most lovely stay in this beautifully appointed, tasteful, sweet airbnb which was home for just two days. Serene and quiet with ultra comfortable king size beds. The proximity to trails both hiking and cycling, the gracious host and the thoughtfulness of both the decorating, extras and essentials were so sincerely noticed and appreciated. I would recommend this airbnb to anyone who wishes to explore the Niagara escarpment and stay in an elegant, centrally located carriage house/home.

First and foremost, Christine and Matt the hosts were so warm and inviting, so friendly and went out of their way to create an incredible experience for us and our six-year-old son. We visited in the winter and the cabin was cozy, warm and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We are local to the area, however, booked because we wanted to do an experience with our son because he loves animals. We were welcomed into the pasture with the alpacas and goats, which were so friendly. We checked out the chicken coop and left with a beautiful blue egg. The hosts even offered for our son to feed the animals before we Checked out, Which was an absolute highlight!! My husband used the charcoal grill to make ribs and wings. There was a mini hot plate and fridge and water available. The bathroom, which is in the barn a very short walk from the Bunkie was so farm chic, There is even a swing inside!! So fun! We can’t wait to come back and visit in the spring!! THANK YOU !!!!

Perfect getaway to relax and unwind. The home is peacefully surrounded by nature yet conveniently close to small towns, hikes, and trails. It had everything our family could possibly need for a relaxing vacation — and more: a fully equipped kitchen (including a dishwasher, baking tools, complimentary tea and coffee pods), a thoughtfully stocked bathroom (the potty and anti-slip mat were especially useful for our small child), TV, board games, washing machine, dryer… truly everything was taken care of. We didn’t have to worry about a thing. We would definitely come back and highly recommend Larry’s home!

I stayed a few nights while travelling to southern Ontario and let me say it was a really great place to relax after long days of travel and meeting folks I grew up with in this part of the province. That sauna before bed was my biggest selling feature also the kindness of the hosts! I will definitely be staying here again if they let me once more, until then thankyou kindly. Very clean and just as the photos stated. Very large and relaxed place. I had some questions for the hosts and they were very quick to reply and accommodate! I suggest you take the time to stay here as it is worth the visit !

This is a spacious, charming and well-decorated two-bedroom apartment. The suite is immaculate and everything you could think of needing or wanting is available, e.g. the bath products are high quality; the kitchen is very well-stocked with spices, cooking utensils, china, glassware, small appliances and we even found milk and condiments in the fridge. Megan is very kind, helpful and friendly and an excellent communicator.

We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful, peaceful home. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully set up, with so much room to move around and cozy little nooks everywhere;blankets draped in just the right spots made it feel extra warm and welcoming. The garden and fire pit area were incredible for winding down in the evenings. There’s a shed out back full of wood, which made it super easy to get a good fire going. Trees cover the yard, and the home feels very private,just the way we like it. One of my favorite little moments was soaking in the tub,it was the perfect self-care treat. The location is super convenient, near a market, a bakery, and some really good restaurants. Toronto is only an hour and a half away, so it’s an easy escape from the city. The communication with the host was excellent,so kind, responsive, and accommodating throughout. Honestly, writing this review feels a bit bittersweet,it makes it official that our stay is over. But we already can’t wait to return.

Our stay at Liesl’s barn house exceeded our expectations. The loft was spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed—from a fully equipped kitchen (plates, utensils, wine glasses, cookware) to bathroom essentials (towels, shampoo, conditioner, even extra toothbrushes). The washer and dryer came with laundry supplies, and there were cleaning materials provided too. The bedrooms had extra bedding, the living area was cozy with a large sofa, Netflix, books, and board games. Outside, the private and peaceful surroundings were perfect for a mini Easter egg hunt for the kids, and we enjoyed the small playground and a bonfire with lots of firewood. Liesl and her family were warm and welcoming, personally greeting us and checking in to make sure everything was perfect. We felt very much at home and had such a lovely, memorable stay. We’re already looking forward to coming back. Thank you so much!

Renee & Tony were very responsive to my requests, accommodating when I needed to extend my stay, even improving my living space. I felt at home quickly. The rooms are spacious and luxurious. Renee & Tony are very trusting yet respectful of your personal space, and are great company if you want it. The pool is a beautiful feature but more of a summer amenity. The location was ideal for active walks/bikers. The trails by the river are minutes away. This was the best choice for me. It’s wonderful to know that there is such a place for extended stays that is so welcoming & safe in this area. Thank you Renee & Tony for not just being great hosts but for being my friend!

We had a lovely stay at Jake’s place. The home was super cute, it was very clean, wasn’t cluttered it had everything we needed for our stay. The beds were comfortable and neighbourhood was nice quiet. There are some great local restaurants within a couple minutes drive. We felt safe and highly recommend. We will book again if we are ever back in Brantford.

My son was getting married near by & we wanted a place that would be close. We needed a place to house multi- generations (age range from 76 yrs to 3 yrs) and this was perfect! Was able to fit us all, the beds were comfortable & the home very cozy! The pool, poolhouse & kids area are fantastic! Britney was very responsive & kind. We certainly will look forward to possibly booking in the future for a stay cation!

The location is central.. we were in town for a family emergency and appreciated the flexibility with the check in.. there is coffee right in the room and Tim Hortons also right across the street. Great unit, comfortable beds! Although we didn’t use the common areas, I checked them out and there are 2 outdoor saunas, wonderful lounge area and outdoor high top bar with bbqs.. Hope to be back sometime and be able to enjoy! Thx you so much! Host was very accommodating and very quick to answer communication!

My first time in Canada got off to a beautiful start at this lakeside apartment! The space is clean, bright, comfortable and peaceful. The view from the bedroom is stunning and the yard/deck right in front of the water feels like a summer dream. The hosts are very friendly and have made our stay calm and easy. We especially appreciate meeting the cat next door. The price, quality, and location of this place is most definitely a rare find. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat on a Great Lake, this is the perfect spot. We will definitely be coming again!

I would like to say from the beginning of booking my place with Faran, she was really quick to respond to any questions had and originally check in was after 3 pm but when i asked if it is possible to check in any earlier, she had checked to make sure the place was clean and ready to go which was nice and checked in before 3pm. After i checked in she messaged me to let me know there was a bag in the lobby with some extra supplies such as hand soap and other supplies which was nice because i didn't even have to ask, she was very proactive and very nice and pleasant to work with and i woukd definitely recommend her place in this condo and there is alot of amenities in condo such as swimming and bowling and pool and more. Im glad i had a great experience with Faran. Faran always messaged and said if there is anything you need or amy concerns please let me know right away so i can fix it for you.

Heather has Students renting in the upstairs part of the house. They were extremely helpful and friendly. She was unable to be available immediately because of family obligations, and her Students covered all the issues that arose. (Thank you Julie!) Heather is a friendly Host, and her Airbnb was perfect for what I needed. Plus, coming from California, it was nice and warm I would easily recommend Heather's Airbnb for a great stay.

Brodi is super accommodating and thoughtful … as we had a few requests and she was kind enough to deliver. I appreciate that all the wood is provided, the entertainment options, and the fish pond only steps away from the front door.
