Cottage vacation rentals in Braeside

We had a guys weekend here and it was perfect. We ended up cooking feasts and their set up for cookware is the best I've seen by far; they've got it all. The rooms were comfortable, bathroom is nice and large, and the property itself is very well set up.

Chouette chalet très bien situé pour aller profiter de la montagne. Les escaliers vers le lac étaient dégagés ce qui était agréable. Les chalet n’a pas de lave vaisselle mais la disposition de la cuisine permet de faire la vaisselle facilement

Kim & Scott’s Honey Bear Cottage is a beautiful, peaceful escape surrounded by nature. The setting is incredibly serene, yet there’s lots to do both at the cottage and nearby. The space was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Kim & Scott were fantastic hosts—friendly, responsive, and made everything feel easy. It was the perfect spot for a getaway and we had an amazing time. Would 10/10 recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat.

It was a great place to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Having a hot tub and fire pit by the water was great.

I had a perfect week-long stay at the Timber Oasis with my husband and dogs. Mike is a generous host who’s thought of every detail to make your stay memorable. There’s so much to enjoy at the cottage that you could easily spend the entire time relaxing there, but the location is also ideal being close to Eganville and Lake Clear. We loved using the stand-up paddleboard at the lake and always enjoy the hot tub, BBQ, fire-pit and great selection of board games. This place is truly a gem, and creates the perfect setting for fun and relaxation. We look forward to our next visit!

This was a great stay! Hosts were very responsive and the place is just beautiful. They welcomed my group with a bottle of champange and a nice message for my birthday! The hot tub is a great addition as well as the outdoor shower. It is very modern and a very well kept property. J’ai passé un séjour absolument ressourçant dans ce magnifique chalet. L’endroit est paisible, entouré de nature, avec plusieurs espaces confortables et intimes où l’on peut vraiment décrocher. Les chambres sont bien espacées les unes des autres, ce qui permet à chacun de profiter de moments de calme et d’intimité. Laura est une hôte attentionnée et toujours disponible en cas de besoin, tout en respectant notre tranquillité. Et que dire du lac… un véritable havre de paix. L’eau est claire, le paysage superbe. C’est un endroit parfait pour se reconnecter avec soi-même ou simplement savourer le silence. Je repars reposée, heureuse, et déjà nostalgique. Je recommande ce petit coin de paradis sans hésiter.

I couldn't be more thankful to Sean for opening up this gorgeous cabin/house for us on the most amazing river. The house is immaculate, trust me I'm an airforce brat! The Sofa and chairs invited you ti relax as long as you want in deep comfort, and the lovely extra blankets and cushions are just wonderful. At night, the firepit and the comfy chairs kept us all smiling. The screened tent is fantastic for sitting right beside the river. The stones at the water's edge are flat and smooth mostly, great for getting your feet wet. And the best part of all, the wonderful sound of the river, which you can hear from the front door. Oh, I almost forgot to mention the wildlife. Ducks, Robin's, yellow finches, hummingbirds, and more. The chipmunks are adorable as well. MY friends and I were sincerely impressed and had an amazing stay.

Lovely stay for our short time in Golden Lake. Clean and well equipped with beautiful views of the lake. Highly recommend for others.

The host greeted us upon arrival and had the wood stove already fired up so that the cabin was very cozy for us. Beautiful scenery, easy water access and walking trails close by. A lovely rustic cabin getaway to recharge from the chaos of society with just the right amount of convenient amenities. Will stay again!!

We had a great stay. This place is so peaceful and tons of wildlife. Loved the bird feeder stations! We saw and heard the loons as well as some otters and beaver. Our dog Zelda who loves to swim enjoyed herself as well with easy access to the water.

We had a great time at Brenda’s space on the lake. Being able to look out over the lake was a great way to wake up. Brenda was responsive and helpful with any questions we had.

We had an amazing stay at Scott’s cottage! The property is beautiful and peaceful—perfect for a relaxing getaway. We had a great stay! Aaron was super communicative and responded promptly to any questions we had. Both the cottage itself and surrounding area was beautiful. Definitely bring your bug spray, but cannot recommend this place enough!

We had a great time staying here! The views are incredible, the place looks better than the pictures, and there's lots to do and enjoy. We also loved the optional mosquito net on the balcony - really helped keep the bugs away! We recommend staying here :)

Dayna and David are INCREDIBLE hosts. They took care of every detail and looked after us when we were effectively snowed in. Their home is creative, beautiful, peaceful, spacious. I could not have asked for a better place to stay. The whole neighbourhood is gorgeous and talk about lovely people! We want to come back in the summer. And the sauna! Let me tell you, in the winter, this was the sweetest treat. I cannot say enough positive things about our experience and how we were treated - like close friends. They get my highest recommendation.

What a great place for family time! The interior design is warm, inviting, and full of hygge — every nook feels thoughtfully curated for comfort and coziness. There are so many different spaces to enjoy, whether you're curled up with a book indoors or out exploring.
