Summerlane Cottage

We had a really nice stay at the cottage. It’s in a peaceful countryside spot, surrounded by flowers and nature, which made it a very relaxing place to unwind. The sofa bed in the living room was easy to use and comfortable. We also accidentally left a bag behind, and the host was very helpful and got it back to us quickly. Would happily stay again and recommend to anyone.

The School Room

ElizabethRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a lovely stay at The Schoolhouse, it was super easy to check in. The building has been beautifully renovated and you can see the love and care that was put in to keeping its historical charm. The kitchen was spacious and well equipped, the mezzanine bedroom light and airy with the added luxury of a bath and the bathroom downstairs was bright and clean with a brilliant shower. Croscombe was a delightful little village, with a wide range of local walks, whilst also perfectly located to drive to Bristol, Bath and Cheddar Gorge. Next time we are in the area, we’d love to stay at The Schoolhouse again! Thank you so much Emma for a very comfortable stay. Would highly recommend

Little Owl - A rural hideaway

Beautiful area for a break in the countryside. The location is far removed from busy roads and very, very peaceful. Gillian was very responsive to communication with helpful suggestions in response to any queries. Although far removed from built up areas, it was still possible to get deliveries from Amazon and groceries from Tesco if driving wasn't on the agenda for a few days.

The Plum Cottage, Somerset

NicoleRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Plum cottage was the perfect stay for our Easter weekend and Romain was a lovely host. Located in the picturesque village of Croscombe, it's the ideal base to explore Somerset and the surrounding area. The cottage is flooded with natural light, newly renovated, and tastefully decorated with vintage pieces. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. There are also many wonderful places to visit nearby. Our favourites were Cheddar Gorge, The Three Horseshoes in Batcombe, Hauser & Wirth Gallery and Farm Shop, and The Manor Inn in Ditcheat. Romain was super friendly and provided us with many recommendations and tips. We also got engaged over the weekend, so Plum Cottage will always hold a special place in our hearts!

Restful country stay, fab Barn in village nr Wells

ElizabethRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
When we arrived the host Rachel told us it was a nice relaxing accommodation. We found it to be everything she said and more. A homely atmosphere, very relaxing with modern amenities in a cottage style setting. It is a very private calm and quiet space. It has good parking. Inside was very clean and inviting with a welcome pack full of useful information. Also Rachel had provided Milk tea and coffee ideal when you arrive after your journey which made us feel quite at home. A very nice touch was the local cider Rachel had provided to showcase the Somerset area. We had a lovely time and would fully recommend staying here, it is a little Somerset Gem!.

Walters Cottage

Had a nice peaceful break at this cottage which is surrounded by fields and hills.. Although a little dated it has everything you could want and is very homely. Great place to take up bird watching since so many different varieties visit the garden, eapecially when you feed them!! Would have helped to know that there is a counter top freezer in advance. Would definitely use again.
