Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Bosque County

A great getaway for a weekend. A beautiful place to relax, and recover from a busy schedule. The farm is10 minutes outside of Glen Rose. It felt as we were much further . Such a peaceful place. Thank you Samantha for sharing your place.

Enjoyed a wonderful girl’s weekend at Goldie’s Getaway. The home was beautiful. Amazing view from the majority of the house and the back porch area. Comfortable beds, beautiful bathrooms. Serene location off the beaten path. Great place to relax and recharge. Some hiking, fishing, boating and other nature recreation in the area. Would definitely recommend and return again.

Very communicative owner. Home was perfect for our need to have somewhere close to stay near relatives in Whitney TX. Highly recommend. Stay was during winter but we could imagine this being a fun summer location.

James was a great host—very responsive and quick to reply to all of our questions. The house itself is a rustic/rough lake cabin, generally clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The game room was definitely a highlight and provided a lot of fun for our kids! While the house is in a rough neighborhood and the yard could use some maintenance—especially around the hot tub and fire pit—we chose to make the most of our time indoors. One thing to note is that most the windows don’t have full curtains or blinds, which may be a consideration for privacy. Overall, we had a very comfortable two-night stay with our six children and appreciated the space and entertainment the house offered. Would definitely recommend!!

Great quick getaway with our dog in the tree covered woods of Kopperl off several gravel roads with plenty of property to walk and relax in and big kitchen glass sliding door to sit and look out at work morning coffee and at meals.

My husband and I enjoyed a week away from it all in the well-appointed cottage apartment near the beautiful Lake Whitney. Stand outs for me were the great shower, super comfortable bed, and the proximity of everything we needed. Yet it is super quiet and peaceful. Marvin is very responsive and personable. We would enjoy another week there.

The house and location is beautiful! Everything was just as the listing indicated and I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay around Lake Whitney or even just passing through!

Very nice place my daughter absolutely loved it. It was exactly what we needed. The host also was very nice and helped us out when we needed it. Will be staying again in the future.

Wayne was very friendly, welcoming, and gave local insight. We had the kids (and dads) camping in the yard while mom’s slept in the a/c. The kids loved exploring the trails, looking for rocks, sticks, bugs, and flowers. Property is very close to the state park. However, the kids favorite place was Big Rock Park near downtown. We went each day we were there and also enjoyed a delicious “Funky Monkey” snow cone. We visit the area about once a year and have found nothing but kind hosts to take us in. We had a great time, and it was all possible because of this property and these hosts. I can’t thank them enough.

great airbnb to stay at...just like last year!! love staying here... great feel to the place. it is fun...relaxing...clean...has what ya need! def recommend this place! Easy communication with host... makes everything even better!

Saw multiple roadrunners hunting together at one time, Eagles flying through the skies, Kingfishers hunting in the front yard, got to do a little fishing, went and explored Serenity Cove and some other adjacent sceneries. There’s much more to see out here than can be done in a weekend, and our stay will forever be a memory we will cherish. Buck and JoJo are the coolest, their dog is big and sweet, the house is freakin cute and funny. We had an absolute blast and hope to come back one day.

The trip finally made it out of the group chat!! We booked Kim’s place for our first ever family trip and it was PERFECT! The babies had a blast being able to roam around inside and outside safely! Our pups enjoyed being able to run as fast as possible around the property 🥹 we had plenty of space for our two households and the kitchen was well stocked for us to cook meals and snacks🤍 We loved every second of our little vacay! The view was incredible. Us adults enjoyed quiet early mornings and late nights on the big back porch 🤍

It was perfect for what we needed! Stacie was super great and the house has what you need for a good little getaway!

this place was amazing! It was above and beyond expectations! cabins are comfortable, cool air, lots of room, great water pressure, REALLY well stocked, and so cute! Our group was always busy exploring the property, playing on the zipline, using the court or in the game room. everyone really loved the porch swings and the hot tub as well. This place would be awesome for a family gathering, a birthday, or grad party. I can't wait to come back! I can't say enough good things about this location, we all absolutely loved it!!!

Due to extreme cold, the hot tub temp was not ideal. Jason gave me a credit back on the price which was appreciated.

For anyone attending or hosting an event at the Stonebridge Wedding and Event venue in Blum, this is the place to stay. It can sleep up to 9, has lots of linens and towels and is just lovely. Well decorated, the kitchen was the best stocked with lots of items for cooking/baking at ‘home’. We were sad it wasn’t cool enough to take advantage of the fire pit outside.
