Our stay at the house was absolutely perfect! The serene Swedish countryside setting is the ideal backdrop for this beautifully renovated home. Some of our favorite things regarding our stay was the well-equipped kitchen which made cooking a joy, the high-quality beds and furniture around the house and the peaceful outdoor spaces where we could relax and take in the stunning surroundings. The communication with the host was excellent—they were responsive, helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed. This retreat is perfect for anyone seeking a tranquil escape. We can't recommend it enough and can’t wait to return for a longer stay next summer!

Dear Jana and Jonas, we had a wonderful (although too short) holiday in your wonderful, cozy, super welcoming house. Already the arrival worked perfectly, we were even allowed to arrive earlier, nothing was missing, everything really perfect, super clean and a warm "home" from the first moment. We relaxed in the sauna and cooled down in the river next to the house, enjoyed the evenings at the fireplace, the kids were super happy and climbed and ran everywhere in the garden, we had nice walks around the lake and the best of our visit: Jonas showed us some precious natural treasures in the wood nearby, we had a little fire in the wilderness with fika and cookies, these are unforgettable moments, thank you so much for sharing these with us. We will definitely come back, next time at least two weeks. Thank you so much again!

We were able to enjoy the stay from the first minute to the last minute. Everything was as described and Tomas was very friendly and helpful. The house offers the possibility to completely get out of everyday life and enjoy nature and tranquility, whether inside in the living room or outside on one of the 3 terraces. The sauna and lake offer additional recreational value.

There were nine of us and there was plenty of room and sleeping options. There was everything needed to cook and there was a great barbecue. The house has become well warm, especially with the fireplace. Highly recommended for a holiday with several people. We had a fantastic time and thank you for the accommodation.

The house is just perfect. It is absolutely detailed and everything has been thought of. It's practical and beautiful. You're just comfortable. Everything is also available around the house. There was a lot of effort in furnishing the house and the property with attention to the details. We had a very nice first Swedish vacation.

We got a warm welcome in the house. Mark, Ellen and their parents were amazing and so so kind. We got a lot of good tips and they helped out with everything. The wood around the house is miraculous. We enjoyed the garden and the huge wooden terrace. The bathing place nearby is ideal with smaller kids to play and for the adults to swim. We did trips to Vimmerby and Astrid Lidgrens World and to Bästervik to the cost. I cannot think of anything we would have missed. Ellen, Mark and all of your family: Thank you so much!

There were three of us for 1 week (2 adults+ 1 child 10 years) stayed with Birgitta. A fantastic place to relax and feel good right on the lake. We had a canoe that we could use, 2 hammocks, a large trampoline and a grill. Birgitta lives with her family and 3 cute cats right next door and was always very nice and helpful when we had questions. The nearest place where we could shop is Atvidaberg, about 15 minutes away. We can 100% recommend the place and Birgitta as a host. Thank you very much for the great week, dear Birgitta 😀 Best regards, Kerstin, Achim and Kim

We traveled together with friends (4 adults and 4 children) and felt comfortable from the first moment. There was plenty of space and enough sleeping options. It was designed with a lot of love & warmth and there was nothing missing in the furnishings. We liked the quiet natural surroundings very much and the views were a dream. We had our desired snow dream, but we definitely want to come back at a different time of year. Thank you for the wonderful time.

Excellent location directly on a very quiet lake in the middle of the forest away from noise and hustle and bustle. It was sooooo good. Perfect for completely relaxing and unwinding. We didn't miss anything important when it was set up. The house is simple but cozy with all the basics. A rowing boat is located directly at the in-house boat dock in front of the door. A wonderfully clear lake invites you to swim. The view from the bedroom to the lake is uniquely beautiful. We were thrilled and can only recommend this house if you are looking for peace in nature. Those who need it will find shopping, excursion destinations and entertainment nearby. Picking mushrooms, biking, or hiking in a beautiful setting. Anything possible. We were thrilled and can only recommend the host with the house.

Kristofers and Maria's place is exactly as described! A cabin surrounded by nature, very quiet, perfect for relaxing. The cabin is older but cozy, everything we needed was available. We were swimming in the lake every day, often on the bathing plate all alone, used the tranquility on the terrace to read and in the evening when it was fresh the fireplace was heated. Since the supermarket in Finspång is a bit away, we always baked the rolls ourselves in the morning, the oven in the kitchen is old but works great. If you don't feel like it: There is also a smaller supply of food in Igelfors, just a few minutes by car. We thoroughly enjoyed the quiet time and would come back any time!

We loved the house - it is big enough to room 2 families and within reasonable driving distance from Astrid Lindgren World. The house has a lot of history in itself and the family generations who lived there. The glass terrace is worth special praise as it provides hours of family time regardless of the weather. Well maintained garden and the lawn allow the kids to run around and come up with new outdoor activities. The hosts were particularly attentive to our remark that one could go mushroom hunting in the area - as where we live we are not spoiled by that - and brought us freshly picked aromatic chanterelles. We felt privileged that we could stay in the house and are very grateful for Swedish hospitality.

Our vacation at Villa Kunterbunt was just wonderful! The kids especially loved the trampoline, the tree house and the climbing wall! We felt very comfortable there. The house offers plenty of space and the garden is full of treasures and fantastically beautiful. The house is very comfortably furnished with a lot of charm. My family and I really enjoyed staying at Ann-Sofie's place. Their house and property are perfect for relaxing. The view of the Bråviken is fantastic! The covered terrace was an extra room for us in the rain and sun, which we used every day! In addition, you have the opportunity to bathe in front of the door. The house offers everything you need in terms of amenities. The internet is not very fast and the reception does not reach the guest house, which did not disturb us. It's definitely enough to stream movies in the main house in the evening if you want to. Ann-Sofie also equipped her house very child-friendly. There are many different games and stools so our 5 year old child could easily get to the sink in the bathroom. Ann-Sofie is a great host and quick to reach! We will definitely be back! Tack så mycket 🤗

We were guests at Anette's with four people for a week. Anette was on site to welcome us, the place was as described, beautiful and equipped with everything we needed. Extremely quiet location and a good starting point for excursions. Also recommended and especially with children is the Kleva Gruva, an old mine. The property is not located directly on the lake, you have to walk a little downhill over the pasture or you can go to the nearest swimming spot, which is not far away. There is also an impressive little Schlips Museum... Thank you for letting us be there.

We celebrated Christmas and New Year's Eve in this accommodation. We had a wonderful time in this beautiful villa in the middle of nature. There is a lake behind the house and in front of the house you can walk directly into the forest. Perfect! Big plus was that we were allowed to bring our dogs. They also had a wonderful vacation! The house is spacious and comfortable. Ingatorp is a quiet and idyllic place. Nearby, there is a lot to do and see. Everything was in the house and there are two bathrooms. In summary, wonderful house!

The stay was great. We were very warmly welcomed, everything was shown and 1-2 things were explained and it was very nice to talk to Annsofi and her family. If you had a concern or question, you could always reach out to the hosts and they would help you. The house is very lovingly decorated and everything was super clean. We felt super comfortable right away. The surroundings are very quiet and beautiful. Nevertheless, you can reach Vimmerby, for example, within half an hour. The nearby moose park was also very nice. The stay was really all around successful.

I can’t recommend this place enough! We had the entire house to ourselves, which made for a perfect stay. Christoffer was incredibly kind and always responded within minutes.
