Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Boothbay

My wife and I planned a last minute trip to Camden, Maine and a lot of the best Inns were already sold out. We were also traveling with a toddler so having her share a room with us is less than ideal. Fortunately my wife suggested we check out airbnb and we found this awesome option. Compared to the inns it was very affordable and we got an awesome, comfy and huge space to ourselves with a second bedroom and it’s right next to the Main Street. If you are looking for a prime location in Camden it doesn’t get much better than this. It also came stocked with everything you would need in the kitchen to make it feel like home.

Location, location, location! Tea with Honey was a cozy, clean and comfortable place to rest at the end of each day after touring this beautiful area of Maine! The ferry to outer Islands is literally across the street, downtown Rockland is very walkable and our new favorite restaurant, Home Kitchen Cafe and Bakery is just a street away! Can’t miss Wasses legendary hot dogs, also just a street away! Our first visit to the Maine Coast and our stay at Annie’s place did not disappoint! We would choose to stay here again on our next visit! Annie was extremely responsive and ready to answer any questions we had. We made a suggestion to post a sign for the airbnb parking spot and she promptly made a professional sign and had it posted in less than a day! Love this adorable little flat!

A few times while wandering around midcoast Maine in late March, we were asked if this is when we usually came to vacation here. Yes, we are educators from the Southwest, and this was our spring break, so this is when we came to visit, but honestly, it is so peaceful this time of year. Especially Boothbay Harbor, and what we imagined while walking around the very quiet town would be a very different place in July! Our experience at Abby’s space was absolutely wonderful and serene in the spring. The thoughtful touches (thank you for the bottle of Maine wine and jar of blueberry jelly!) made it even more special. Thank you, we hope to be back one day.

The suite was beautiful, well appointed, very clean and comfortable! Walking distance to shops and restaurants, a very fun and comfortable place to stay!

Susan’s place is a beautiful home with lots of charm and thoughtful touches throughout. The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked, even baking ingredients were available as well as snacks and plenty of coffee supplies. The only thing a guest might want to know in advance is that the bed is quite squeaky. Once you’d settled in to the comfy middle it was fine but getting in and out did make a bit of noise. Nothing that would keep us from coming back, we had a great weekend despite the rain!

The property is excellent. I would recommend going before Labor Day as a lot of local businesses including the amusement park shut down for the season. Unless traveling out of town you don’t need a vehicle to get around, you’re right off the beach and at the end of Main Street, everything is within walking distance. Yingqiao was very responsive and always got back to my messages within the hour. The condo is plenty big for a large party and the kitchen is stocked with anything you need and quite large. The beds are very comfortable and there were plenty of towels. There is also a new washer and dryer so you don’t need to overpack you can wash your clothes. The large outdoor balcony where you have views of pretty much the entire Main Street was amazing. Did not know that there would be great views like that. I highly recommend this property and we will most likely be coming back earlier in the season and checking out anything we missed. A+

Great place, prompt and easy communication with Patti

My family and I stayed here for 4 nights and had the best time. The condo is in the most perfect location right near the beach and the cute town. Our boys loved that we could walk right outside and be able to walk the town and go right to the beach. The condo is absolutely beautiful with breathtaking views of the water. It was so easy to take our boys to the beach being so close. We especially loved enjoying the sunset at night and walking the beach. The pool was also very nice and great for the kids. I can’t wait to come back one day! Thank you Stephen and. Pauline you are a blessing to us! I would give 10 stars if I could!!

Meghan’s place was perfect for our family of four. A quick drive or bike to the beautiful beach; Woolf’s for fresh corn and pre-cooked lobster; Five Acre farm for freshly baked pies (love the honour pay system!). Also lots of amenities on the grounds to take advantage of (swimming, pool, tennis, pickle ball). Would happily stay at Meghan’s place again.

Very nice place, neighbors upstairs were a bit noisy but overall we had a great weekend!

Cute, quiet condo within walking distance of everything! 2 minute walk to the beach. 5 minute walk to downtown/restaurants. And two bodegas right across the street.

Alice’s condo in Old Orchard Beach is exactly as advertised. It was in sparkling condition when we arrived, it’s a very short walk to the beach (when we were able to tear the kids away from the pool!), and it is the perfect distance from the center of town: close enough to walk, but far enough away to enjoy some privacy and distance from the crowds. We even managed to squeeze in a quick workout in the small gym. We would absolutely stay here again. Thank you so much, Alice!

This was our second year staying at Chandra’s place during our annual week in Maine and it was, once again, terrific. Quiet, clean and within walking distance to the beach and all Ocean Park/Old Orchard attractions. When the washing machine wasn’t working, Chandra was very responsive and immediately offered to cover our costs of using the laundromat (which she did at the end of the week). We would definitely go back again next year!

Check in is super simple and quick with friendly front desk staff. The condo has an open concept kitchen/living room which allows continuous interaction with family. 2 full bathrooms were more than enough to accommodate 4 adults and 2 children. Both bedrooms were very accommodating for all of us. You will have your own parking spot the entire length of your stay, a 2nd car will have to park in a separate lot about a block away from the actual condo. Everything you could need is in walking distance unless you want to travel outside of old orchard, you won’t need to touch your car. The best part for us with young children was how close the beach was this was a MUST for us and it was perfect. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home. We would definitely come back if you would have us again.

The townhouse complex is really nice, has a pool and it's a short walk to the beach. The space is comfortable, the balcony is nice, the kitchen is really well equipped with everything you need. We had a very relaxing stay! It's really quiet and relaxing after a beach day or exploring nearby Portland. (if you're sensitive to noise - there's train that goes by a few times a day that you'll likely hear)

Very comfortable and lovely 2BR unit with a nice deck and a good amount of natural lighting thru windows. The proximity to the beach was fantastic and easily walkable. We used the great kitchen quite a bit. Modern appliances. Tastefully decorated. Nice collection of board games and books that the kids appreciated. Very lovely and enjoyable stay. Highly recommended!

We loved our stay in this beautiful and whimsical home. The kitchen is very well equipped for cooking. The home feels luxurious and relaxing was well supported!

This is an amazing property with a very cool house. Check-in was easy, Tyler is a very responsive host, and we were able to find everything we needed and wanted. We especially enjoyed the wood-fired sauna during sunrise, and the fire pit in the evenings.

Very responsive hosts, any issues we had (small issues) they answered within minutes! Very close to the town, beautiful land.

We loved Three Sisters Farm! It was a favorite of mine, and the 10 other guests we had! One thing that made this home stand out from other stays we have done was how well equipped it was with things you would need, or would like to have. Such as kitchen items, sandwich bags, and an extension cord. Who knew we needed those? Beautiful home and wonderful property. We will likely be back next year!

We had a wonderful weekend getaway at Debbie's cabin - the place felt very homey and comfortable and the hosts were very communicative. The layout of the cabin is super cool too, especially if you have kids who need a separate play area, but you still want to keep an eye on them! We also really loved the deck and living area to hang around in. There were a ton of board games, vinyls, video tapes, and more to keep us entertained, and the kitchen was well equipped to cook meals. It's close enough to the town of Kennebunkport, which makes for a great day trip, but also perfectly nice to just hang around at and spend all day relaxing! The one slight consideration for people with mobility issues is that the firepit is placed on a spot of land that is quite inclined - it wasn't a problem for us, but worth noting. We absolutely loved our stay, and can't wait to visit again in the summer.

We thoroughly enjoyed our nearly two week stay at the Cottage Preserve. Franny was especially helpful with our questions.

This place for was perfect for our ski trip. The home had plenty of beds for all of us and enough room for us to all hang out. The hot tub was an excellent addition to relax after a long day of skiing. The house is very private and gives that secluded feeling. Overall, we loved the house and would totally stay again.

Wonderful place to stay, absolutely immaculate and pristine.
