The appartment is located literally besides the main road. There's still some activity on the streets even late at night which is a good thing, if you come back home very late or if you wish to get out and grab yourself something to eat. The appartment was as described, the host Michelle was always available to provide assistance if need be. The quality of the Wi-Fi was okay considering I worked there and I could have my audio/video calls. The A/C was great, though I somewhat felt the "swing" function was limited as far as it's inclination level is concerned. In a town like Douala, a fully-funtional A/C is something crucial. The power generator did it's job as well. Regarding the TV, someone was (remotely) messing around with the channels when I was watching the FA cup finals lol. Personally, I'd like to have full control of what I watch everytime. Overall totally satisfied with the place and what it has to offer for that price... 💯 recommending it, 💯 going back !

Herve was a great host especially with his engagement and flexibility with checking out. The apartment was well decorated, cleaned and looked good.

I stayed in Amandine's smaller flat. I am a sucker for space, so it didn't feel awesome at first, but was cozy enough. The place is relatively easy to find and there are nice restaurants nearby, Tcho'o, tchopetyamo, African Food by Emy, etc, and it's literally three minutes walk to Petit Terrain Bonamoussadi. The host was super responsive and always willing to help, making the stay really pleasant. The place felt safe and private, which I really appreciate. Overall, very pleased, looking forward to staying at Amandine's place again.

We had an amazing stay at this apartment. Located in a great neighborhood, it is very secure and offers all the comfort you need. The three bedrooms are spacious, making it ideal for my family. The WiFi is not only reliable but also very fast, which was a huge plus! Security is top-notch, with a guard present 24/7, allowing us to fully enjoy our stay with peace of mind. The host is responsive and attentive to guests’ needs. I highly recommend this apartment and will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Douala!

Quand on aime, on le dit ! Notre hôte dès la réservation a été bienveillant et aimable : tout présageait déjà un séjour des plus agréable. Une fois bagages posés, quel plaisir de constater que certains produits de premières nécessités étaient mis à disposition. Mon œil aiguisé a également remarqué que des améliorations notables avaient été faites (micro-ondes, nettoyage etc...), certainement motivées par les commentaires des utilisateurs précédents et l'envie de se perfectionner. Si vous recherchez la tranquillité et l'autonomie, vous êtes au bon endroit. La résidence est bien desservie et facilement accessible, vous vous y sentirez en sécurité. Une mention spéciale pour tata Judith qui nous a tellement facilité le quotidien, qu'elle en est devenue presque indispensable. C'est exactement ce dont nous avions besoin, nous reviendrons c'es certain !

Very satisfied with my stay and is a very comfortable option for short or long-term stays. Arsène does a great job managing the communication from abroad and a very nice Michelle takes care of anything onsite if you need it. The place is exactly the same as the photos shared and perhaps better. The listed amenities are all there. AC units work great. There is a generator for backup power. The guest pays for electricity and gas for the generator. There were a few small issues that had to be sorted and fixed upon arrival but these were done extremely quickly and without any problems. I really appreciate the good communication between Michelle and Arsène. The area is far from the main part of the city but everything essential is close by. Good supermarket just up the road, lots of restaurants to choose from, fresh fruit vendors close, plenty of bars to choose from if desired, etc. Would definitely recommend and you won’t regret it

The place is nice except the closet that was falling apart and they didn’t even care to fix it! Also the check out was very bad! I called the host so many times since 6am to tell her I will be leaving by 9am and they didn’t respond. So I had to wait until 10am before I could get an answer in the meantime I called and texted her so many times since we couldn’t give the keys to the gate keepers and to no one else but to the host herself! So essentially she blocked us for more than 1 hour, It was horrible!

Le logement correspondait parfaitement à la description et l'emplacement ainsi que l'environnement du logement correspondait parfaitement à nos besoins. Je recommande sans hésiter et je les recontacterai surement lorsque j'aurai besoin d'un logement à Douala !
