This home was everything and more!!! The house itself was absolutely amazing and far exceeded the photos which says a lot! The kitchen was sooo well stocked and was such a perfect oasis at the end of our busy days sightseeing! We had tons of animal visitors in the backyard every morning. Morning coffee and Giraffe sightings is something we don’t experience in Los Angeles! The bedrooms were so spacious and every detail of the home was luxurious. The beds were super comfortable and the outdoor showers were next level. We had plenty of room to spread out both inside and out. The host was so helpful in making us feel so at home with a stocked fridge upon arrival and was always available when we needed her from booking to check out the experience was PERFECTION. We will be back again and again. We have found our South African home away from home. 10/10 experience all around.

We stayed over at Silke's place for 2 nights. The check-in was a breeze which really helped after a very long day of traveling. The house was clean and our experience overall was lovely. Would highly recommend Silke's place to anyone traveling to the Kruger.

Panos was an excellent host and the place was better than the pictures. The location is great for a quiet getaway from the city life and has breathtaking surroundings, you fall asleep and wake up to the soothing sound of a running river. Effective and responsive communication and any damage we caused was clearly communicated. One of the best places I’ve stayed at this year so far a real 10/10

We had the most incredible stay at Afrikaya Bush Lodge! From the moment we arrived, we felt instantly at home. The lodge is beautifully designed, blending seamlessly with the natural surroundings, offering a truly tranquil and immersive bush experience. The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Waking up to the sounds of nature was an absolute highlight. The attention to detail in the decor and amenities made the experience even more special. The lodge also offers great access to nearby game reserves and activities, making it the perfect spot for nature lovers and wildlife enthusiasts. Absolutely magical! Our stay at this incredible spot was nothing short of magical. The views are breathtaking, the space is beautifully and uniquely designed, and the entire experience felt like a peaceful retreat from the world. Waking up to the mountain view was unforgettable. Everything was just as described (if not better), and we felt right at home. Andre and Erna were wonderful, warm, and generous with their time and local knowledge. One of the most unforgettable experiences was feeding the zebras that wander right up to the house. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a special, soul-restoring getaway. Thank you for sharing this slice of paradise!
