We had a nice stay with the family. The place is spacious so even at 7 we don't step on it. The veranda is pleasant and bright. Comfortable living room chairs! Having single beds was very convenient for our setup. Everything you need to cook. The village is quiet 10min from Compiègne by car.

It was such an amazing experience to spend a week in this beautiful village. Paris Gard du Nord is only 45 minutes away by train and therefore we were able to spend whole days in Paris and then retreat each evening back to this serene and beautiful village. The house is "olde worlde" and so charming - we dined every morning and evening al fresco on the lovely patio area. Being there is just like a home away from home where you will find everything that you require. The grocery shop, boulangerie, butcher and the local bar are just a few steps around the corner. Our host Eric was wonderful, kind and always available to answer any questions. On Saturday morning when there were fewer trains stopping at Rieux-Angicourt Eric kindly drove us to Creil train station for our train to Paris. We are so grateful for his kind assistance that day. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Eric's place. Thank you so much Eric. Martin & Fiona. P.S. We would love to return!

Wonderful stay! Antoine and Cynthia were very responsive to our comments and questions. The house has a lot of charm, spacious and well-equipped for adults and children! We were able to enjoy the heated pool, and the game room annex disconnected from the house is convenient for going to play without waking the children.
