Well appointed apartment with parking space. Nice views from balcony. Very handy for dive centre at Poseidon hotel or for the coastal path going the other way. It’s walkable into the centre of Vela Luka and takes about 25 minutes. There’s sometimes a water taxi instead. Darka and family were great hosts, thank you for the wine and food . The apartment really does have everything you need for a week in terms of kitchen equipment too which is a bonus.

We spent 7 beautiful days at Maja’s Villa. The view was always amazing, the house itself was comfortable and clean. The location was isolated enough to feel peaceful, with a couple of excellent restaurants and easy walk away and a short drive of many several beautiful villages. We had some unusual circumstances, a power outage on the island, followed by a power outage for the region the next day. There was a heat wave so being without the air conditioning and refrigerator were a bit unpleasant. But the pool and ocean a few feet from the house helped us cope. Throughout, Maja and a local manager were in constant contact, keeping us informed and updated. They made great recommendations for a fishing/snorkeling trip with a stellar picnic. They also found cooking equipment for us so we could try making a Peka on our last night. Would recommend Maja’s Villa with no reservations!

'Nonno' Apartment

Natalia was a great host, who clearly cares a lot for her place. She even greeted us with a delicious bottle of local white wine! We were the first guests of the season (mid May) but we had an amazing time. The bay is extremely peaceful and quiet which we liked. The semiprivate beach was clean and just a few steps away. The apartment itself was super clean and had most of the ususal amenities, and if it didn't Natalia was there to help us with whatever we needed. There is a lovely restaurant and a grocery shop about 5 min drive so you don't need to go far, but you still need a car on Korcula (theres parking off the main road, above the property).
