Cottage vacation rentals in Blackmans Bay

A fabulous climax to our 10 days in Tassie. Even with strong winds on the first day we were snug in this most private elegantly appointed ‘Boathouse’ with a 270 degree view of the bay through beautiful woodland. There was fresh bread and champagne for our arrival and a variety of pillow types for the bed, which was much appreciated. I saw from the guest book that there are regular visitors who come back every year - it’s no wonder and we hope to be back ourselves.

A wonderful stay, the spa on the deck was particularly fun for our kids, and we loved the wood fire. Warm and cosy stay with beautiful views of the bay.

Beautiful property with incredible scenery. The perfect spot for anyone looking to relax and disconnect in nature. Couldn’t have asked for a better getaway.

Fabulously located property. Comfortable and convenient. Karen was very responsive and flexible, providing us with a late check-out, which was very much appreciated.

The property was clean, spacious and comfortable. The hosts were responsive. There was a small issue with a leaking tap but we managed to resolve it relatively quickly. The location is excellent for anyone who wants easy access to Huonville and Ranelagh. I would stay again.

The most beautiful cottage with everything thought of for guests and the minute you walk into the cottage, it feels fabulous. Beautiful food basket, bottle of wine, fresh milk, bread, jams…. heaters through out the cottage, bath robes, comfy slippers and very comfortable bed! We’ll be back!

Loved returning to this beautiful and spacious cabin at the end of each day exploring Bruny. Great attention to detail made for a very relaxing home away from home. Many thanks, it was an inspiring place to stay

If we were to stay in Hobart again, staying here would be a no brainer. The home is a delight and the location is perfect for getting around the town. Lots of cute little cafes and restaurants a stones throw away whilst maintaining the charm of an inner city suburb. Everything from check-in to check-out went very smoothly. Thank you to our host Kat for the very prompt and clear communication. I can't recommend the Milkman's Cottage enough.

Louise's Opossum Bay house is the perfect cozy and quiet spot. I take my dogs on beach walks everyday. Everyone is friendly and Louise has been so accomodating and responsive. There's so much natural light and the house stays nice and warm during winter.

This place is just the sweetest place to stay. Sit on the balcony and watch the chooks by day and pademelons at night. Compact but everything I wanted kitchen. The coolest stairs and wood wall. Close to Woodbridge Village for brekky but also close to Birchs Bay Art Farm, Kettering and not far across to Cygnet too.

We had an amazing stay at Lemon Tree Cottage. The place is beautiful and clean with all the amenities you could ask for. What made this place really stand out is the sit/stand desk with monitor and laptop stand - perfect for a working holiday. The location in Bellerive is fantastic and a great base from which to explore the city of Hobart. Kasey was a lovely host and was friendly in all her communications. I would happily recommend Lemon Tree Cottage for your next visit to Hobart.

Magical cosy cottage in the trees. Everything you could possibly needs from a rice cooker to coffee making supplies to jigsaw puzzles, colouring books, boardgames, outdoor bath and sports equipment. Carefully curated for both adults and children. I felt nourished and at home in the peaceful setting and I will most certainly be back with friends!

Our stay was lovely, the cottage had everything we needed, was very clean and comfortable. So quiet and private within walking distance to the bay where we found a few little cafe/restaurants that were just lovely. Would stay here again if Tasmania was on our destination list once more.

As soon as you walk into this beautiful cosy cottage you feel right at home. It is in a great location to explore Hobart and southern Tasmania, not forgetting the very quaint beautiful town of Richmond. I would not hesitate to stay at this lovely cottage again nor recommend it to any of my family and friends.

The Storekeeper's Boutique is a beautiful gem, preserving a magnificent balance of historic feel and modern convenience. The hosts are very friendly and responsive, with a great mindset in hospitality. I'd highly recommend the place to anyone travelling nearby!

Lovely and cozy place, very close to all the hotspots Hobart has to offer.

We absolutely loved our stay. It was peaceful and relaxing. Could’ve stayed there much longer. The bed was super comfy and we loved the cosy fire in the lounge room. The hosts have thought of everything from a well kitted out kitchen, to amazing laundry and books and games when you have downtime. Will definitely have a return stay there if we are in the are again.

Murphy’s Cottage was impeccably presented. It has spectacular views and everything you need for a comfortable stay in this beautiful part of the Tasmania Peninsula.

We had such a fantastic second stay at Kelly cottage. We love it so much the first time we couldn’t possibly have stayed anywhere else. It is perfectly situated within walking distance to shops cafe and restaurants and everything you need. It was cozy and warm in the cold and had a perfect and private outdoor setting for when the sun shone. We loved the comfortable beds and neat bathroom as well as a well stocked kitchen. We will definitely be back for a third time!

Lisa’s place is a cute cottage in South Hobart. Easy access to a couple of good cafes and a little supermarket a couple of mins walk away; and across the road from a quiet pub w bottle shop. Pleasant walk up to Cascade Brewery and back via the creek. Easy to get into city via $10 uber. The house itself is neat and clean with one bathroom. It is compact but suited our group of 3 and has little courtyard if you need it. Bring your eye mask if you wake w morning light. Neighbourhood is cute and pretty quiet.
