Eddie's place was as described. A very comfortable home. Clean and had everything one may need for a home away from home. Only downsides, bed wasn't very comfortable, but adequate. More towels would have been useful. Apart from that, perfect.

My family had a great second stay at Andrew’s place. As with their first stay everything was perfect. Would not hesitate to recommend Oak House to anyone

Highly recommended - really nice home and very clean Was also well furnished and the provided board games were popular with my kids Only comment was that on warm sunny days, the upstairs bedrooms being in the loft get incredibly hot - they could do with fans to keep cool

Will definitely book again, cottage was ideal, had afternoon tea at Summerseat Garden Centre which was a short walk away, which I cannot recommend highly enough. The area around the cottage was gorgeous and ideal for a stroll with the dog. A couple of suggestions, maybe….an air fryer would be good and cheaper on the electricity! Thanks for a lovely stay.

Niamh was a great host. The place was even better than the pictures and fantastic value for money, Niamh replied fast to any queries we had. If I am in the area again I would 100% book back without a doubt.

What a beautiful lodge, set in a beautiful place! The site was absolutely lovely. Everything you needed the lodge had. The instructions booklet was very helpful as we had 3 children with us and a dog so looking for activities to suit us all. Overall a lovely stay, we will most definitely be returning maybe just the grown ups this time lol for abit more of a relax xx

Lovely lodge close to amenities and plenty to see and do. The welcome book with places to see and eat was brilliant. Very clean lodge and the extra little touches was an added bonus. Christine was always available for any questions. We would stay there again.

We booked the lodge last minute for a first little mini-break with our 4 month old baby. The grounds were beautiful, well-kept and there were lots of a lovely walks around the site. The lodge itself was perfect for what we needed, it was tastefully furnished and decorated, clean and tidy, and had all we could need. The only thing which was a bit hard work was having a stove-top kettle rather than an electric one, which took a while for making the babies bottle (just personal preference). The hot tub was so relaxing, and the waterfall shower was amazing! We sadly didn’t get to use the outdoor pool with the baby, as it was a bit cooler weather on the day we could have gone. The on-site bar was great for drinks in the sun and had a happy hour 2for1 deal. We had nice food there one evening and breakfast on our last day - only complaint was very slow service, they seemed in-experienced and understaffed, but pleasant enough. Great stay all in all and would recommend and return!

Beautiful caravan super spacious and clean. Fantastic location close to moorcombe bay. Lisa was extremely helpful from booking to checkout would defiantly recommend and stay again.

Visited with young family, two under 1yr and a toddler, and the grandparents. Charlotte was very helpful in organising additional Baby Chairs and Travel Cots to save us space in the car which is a premium when travelling with kids. Lodge was very comfortable inside. Deck was well maintained and the retractible parasol over the outdoor table was great to keep the kids in the shade. We made full use of the BBQ, the venue provided food for feeding the swans/ducks and the views from the Jacuzzi during the sunset were great alongside the provided candles & evening fairy lights. In terms of the immediate local area we visited the wildlife park and also a local farm. The onsite restaurant meal we had on the Sunday evening was also pretty good but be mindful that it closes quite early for food. All in all a good 3 days with family and I’d definitely consider going back. Thanks Charlotte 👍

We had a wonderful 5 day stay! The caravan was perfect for our family of four (plus our dog) — cozy, spacious, and full of thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. What really stood out was the incredible attention to detail, especially for our pup — treats, a towel, and even a blanket were waiting for her. It was so heartwarming and showed how much care went into everything. Our host was amazing — Sam sent us great recommendations in advance for places to eat and things to do, which made our trip so much easier and more enjoyable. The fresh flowers and duck food left for us were such a lovely surprise — it truly felt like a personal and welcoming experience. We’re so grateful and would absolutely love to come back. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a warm, pet-friendly getaway!

Very spacious bungalow in a beautiful, private location. The house felt very homely, with everything we needed for our stay. It was clean and smelled lovely on arrival, and my grown up daughters and I spent a very happy week there. The garden space is a great addition, and offered a great opportunity to watch the local birds and bats. We were all sad to leave at the end of the week!

I have stayed here before and as always, the perfect place to stay while visiting family. The place was pristine-and I'm picky. Basics were providing like Milk, bread, coffee, tea etc which is always appreciated. Maria has the place setup to be very welcoming. I've stayed in many Airbnbs and by far this is one of the best. It was spotless, cosy and exactly as the photos show. Maria is always so responsive. Definitely will stay here again.

We have a great Easter weekend at Lorraine"s place. The house is situated in a great location We ventured out around the village and found a lovely walk along the canal. We had a brilliant chilled break . looking forward to booking again 😁 Hazel & David

We stayed as Garry had some church business over the Easter so decided to make a break of it. Mark was a fantastic host, very responsive and left lots of lovely treats. House well equipped and modern with a fabulous bathroom and nice master bedroom and kitchen. It is off quite a busy road, so has many local shops and takeaways on the doorstep. It is on a residential street but the neighbours were friendly enough I imagine parking could be a bit of an issue sometimes. We had a nice break and had some nice food and drinks while there.
