Smoking friendly vacation rentals in Black River

We enjoyed here a full month in May 2025. Strong points: - First of all, the apartment was CLEAN. I confess my wife is a cleanliness freak, she had very minor objections regarding the cleanliness. This is really rare for her! - The owners were very receptive to all our requests. - The apartment is very big. It can easily accommodate 2 families with kids (middle bedroom is equipped for children), if they can manage the usage of the only bathroom. However, the shower and the toilet are each isolated in it's own space, meaning that shower, toilet and sink can be used by 3 persons in the same time. - A beautiful beach is 200 mtrs away. - Bus stop at 100 mtrs. - A restaurant just across the street, fair cooking and prices. Weak points: - Hot water is produced by solar panels. Next morning after a cloudy day the water may be not hot enough. - The location is in an quite isolated neighbourhood, so if you are a fan of nightlife (not our case, however) you must rent a car or use a taxi.

Nathalie è stata super, ci ha aiutato in ogni modo possibile. Avere una bella casa pulita e in ordine è importante, ma la vera differenza la fanno le persone! Anche la governante Sharmela ha tenuto in perfetto ordine la casa e ci ha preparato un pranzo mauriziano buonissimo. La casa è perfetta per i bambini che hanno modo di giocare senza pericoli. Vi consigliamo un soggiorno di almeno 7 giorni per non soffrire troppo quando lasciate la casa. Grazie a tutto lo staff

Buongiorno. abbiamo soggiornato nell'appartamento di Christofer una settimana. L'appartamento è tenuto molto bene, pulito e con una signora che ogni tanto viene a pulirlo. E' situati al centro del paese nella via dello shopping e vicino a ATM e supermarket. L'appartamento è dotato di tutti i confort tranne la lavastoviglie. La terrazza all'ora del tramonto è spettacolare. Christofer con noi è sempre stato presente e gentilissimo in tutto: ci ha trovato un taxi che ci portava in giro, organizzato bellissime gite in barca ed al check out ci ha lasciato per un pò piu tempo la casa, in poche parole una persona squisita. Super logement 👍 idealement situé à 10 minutes en voiture de la magnifique plage du morne . Piscine agréable. Eric nous avait mis à disposition un kayak (finalement nous n avons pas eu le temps d aller en faire mais si on avait voulu c etait possible 🙂) Eric est un hôte tres agréable et reactif 👍 Notre logement préféré de l'île avec sa localisation ideale 😍

Emplacement parfait, appartement magnifique avec tout ce qu’il faut à l’intérieur : un petit balcon pour profiter du soleil le matin lors du petit déjeuner, un coin salon avec deux balançoires pour se relaxer en rentrant des visites, une cuisine toute équipée et une salle de bain moderne. Sans parler de l’extérieur avec sa grande piscine, sa salle de musculation bien fournie, le coin détente, le coin barbecue... tout est magnifique. Des hôtes formidables qui vous conseillent au mieux sur les choses à visiter, très gentils, respectueux, à l’écoute et attentifs. J’ai pu partager une soirée grillade et rhum à leurs côtés et ce fut parfait. Je recommande à 1000 % et je reviendrai, c’est sûr ! À bientôt.

Ubytovaní jsme si vybrali pro 3 týdenní pobyt s malým dítětem. Lokalita bytu je skvělá a na pláži jste do 5 minut. Byt tedy poskytuje pro rodinu s dětmi skvělé zázemí a pláž Pereybere se nám líbila ze všech nejvíce. Co bych vytkl je teplota bazénu, který se během našeho pobytu vyskytoval převážně ve stínu a byl až nepříjemně studený, takže ten jsme využili minimálně. Bazén je ale perfektně čistý a udržovaný. S bytem jsme byli celkově spokojeni a mohu jej každému doporučit hlavně kvůli jeho skvělé lokalitě.

Fantastico alojamiento. El único tema a tener en cuenta es que si no alquilas auto ( como nosotros) se hace difícil caminar en la ruta. No hay espacio para peatones . Las playas de Pereybere y Grand Bay se pueden acceder caminando. Lo recomiendo 100%. Gracias Valerie por tu atención!

Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt,tolle Aussicht aufs Meer. Unterkunft und Terrasse sehr groß und sauber. Restaurant ist in der Nähe. Empfehle einen Mietwagen um die Umgebung zu erkunden und zum Strand Le Morne zu fahren. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten La Gaulette oder Chemin Grenier.

Voici une reformulation de votre texte : Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel de plus de deux semaines avec nos deux enfants (1 an et 4 ans). Amreen est une personne extrêmement chaleureuse et accueillante. Elle a fait en sorte que notre séjour soit le plus simple et agréable possible. Chaque fois que nous avons eu besoin d'aide, ses réponses ont été rapides et efficaces. Nous avons été confinés dans l'appartement pendant un ou deux jours à cause du cyclone, mais la qualité de l'hébergement, notamment la piscine, nous a permis de profiter malgré tout. Amreen a été très attentionnée et s'est souciée de notre bien-être tout au long de cette situation. Je recommande vivement ce logement à 100%. Il offre un grand espace, une climatisation fonctionnelle, et surtout, une vue splendide sur l'océan. Un grand merci !

Die Zeit im Palm Nest war wunderschön. Die Lage in Tamarin gefiel uns, da man von dort den schönen Westen der Insel mühelos erkunden kann. Am Strand La Preneuse vor der Haustür kann man wunderschöne Sonnenuntergänge genießen. Der Kontakt mit Coralie war super hilfreich, freundlich und unkompliziert. 🫶🏻

michel est un hôte agréable , discret et serviable très réactif et de bon conseil il nous a réservé toutes nos excursions jusqu a la réservation au restaurant, le taxi et la voiture de location. Le logement propre et confortable et correspondant exactement au descriptif. je recommande vivement.

Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt in deinem Haus. Uns hat es super gefallen! Die Lage ist nicht zu toppen! Tolle Aussicht auf den indischen Ozean. Auch ein privater kleiner Strand gehört zum Haus. Pool wurde täglich gereinigt wie auch das Haus. Sehr freundlicher Empfang durch Davina. Welche uns auch während dem Aufenthalt immer zur Verfügung stand bei Fragen. Sie hat immer sehr schnell geantwortet. Auch der Wächter des Anwesens war sehr hilfsbereit und ging mit uns am ersten Tag mit dem Auto einkaufen. Wir hatten kein eigenes Auto wurden aber durch den Nazim und seinen Fahrern super betreut. Hatten während unseres Aufenthaltes schlussendlich immer den gleichen Taxifahrer (Nawfar) den wir sehr empfehlen können. Die Ausflüge mit ihm waren super! Er zeigte uns viele schöne Orte und war den ganzen Tag für uns verfügbar wenn wir uns dies wünschten. Somit ist auch kein Muss ein eigenes Auto zu haben. Ein lokaler Supermarkt ist auch sehr gut zu Fuss erreichbar.

House is absolutely stunning. Very well equipped kitchen, master bedroom is huge with breathtaking views. There are 4 bedrooms in the house, all with private bathrooms. The pool and deck were fantastic. It was so nice to sit there and just look at the ocean! The property is located approx. 10 min walk (2 min drive) from the main street and the beach. A shopping center with a grocery store is also super close. Athalie was very nice, super flexible and helpful. She gave us a detailed tour of the house. It was really nice to meet her. The only thing that was a problem and may be a problem in the future is the roof over the staricase. It is made of glass and unfortunately leaks when it rains. Since the leak was quite big and required a lot of work and effort from us to keep the house dry, we assume that it would probably be fixed very soon, so it may not be a problem anymore.

The apartment was spacious, modern and fully equipped with everything you need. The communication with the host was very friendly and all of our requests were fulfilled. We had a great time!

My family and I had a fantastic two-night stay at Zaheer’s place, and it was worth every penny! Zaheer is an incredibly friendly and accommodating host, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The location is perfect—steps away from an almost private beach, with tons of restaurants nearby and exciting spots like Rochester Falls to explore. The outdoor jacuzzi was a delightful bonus, perfect for unwinding after busy days filled with activities. The house itself is comfortable, ideal for relaxing after hours spent outdoors. With so much to do in the area, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Highly recommend!

Great location. We loved the privacy of the place, with the beach in front of the garden. The area is not touristic, which we liked (we had a rental car). Geraldine is a nice host, we had good contact.

Accommodation was wonderful, close to the beach and shops ! Easily accessible , great loaction and perfect for what we needed. Definitely highly recommend.

My family had a wonderful stay at Daren’s apartment! It is very close to the beach, it’s clean and most importantly, Daren is a fantastic host. He was responsive, flexible and very helpful with all requests. Definitely recommend staying here! :)

Ein schönes und großes Studio mit einer tollen Terrasse. Sehr ruhig und dennoch zentral gelegen. Der Strand und Restaurants sind fußläufig in ca. 10 min zu erreichen, wenn man zu anderen Stränden fahren möchte empfielt sich ein Motorroller oder Auto. Die Vermieter sind sehr angenehm. Es gibt ausreichend heißes Wasser, die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und die Räume sind mit Vorhängen zu verdunkeln. Das Bett ist bequem, die AC kühlt gt ab, wenngleich sie auch etwas lauter ist. Hier können Ohrstöpsel Abhilfe schaffen. Aufgeteilt ist alles wie auf den Bildern ersichtlich: Ein Badezimmer, eine Küche mit Sitzgelegenheit, ein Schlafzimmer und ein Wohnzimmer mit Sofa und Esstisch.

Le logement était tres bien situé : plage et restaurants à pieds. Appartement très bien équipé avec tout le nécessaire (pack d'eau, thé, biscuits...). Bill est tres agréable et disponible pour toute demande. En bonus, nous avons eu un plat typiquement mauricien préparé par ses soins. Nous recommandons a 100 %.

Nous avons passé quelques jours dans l’appartement de Quentin, tout s’est très bien passé. Nous avons été très bien accueilli par la famille de Quentin qui vit juste à côté, merci beaucoup à eux. Notamment Christine et sa maman qui nous ont cuisiné un excellent repas pour une soirée, et puis l’excursion en bateau autour de l’île aux Cerfs avec Julio qui était supère ! Trou d’eau douce est un joli village, et c’est très agréable de se promener sur le petit port, à quelques pas de l’appartement. L’appartement est spacieux, joliment décoré et agréable. Bref, nous y retournerions avec plaisir !

Tolle Wohnung direkt am Strand. Wunderbarer Blick von der Terrasse auf das Meer. Total ruhige Lage. Man hört nur das Meer und Vogelgezwitscher. Man kann traumhafte Spaziergänge am Strand machen. Die Wohnung hat viel Platz. Küche und Badezimmer waren ohne Makel. Es war alles da was wir brauchten. Roumila hat jederzeit und umgehend auf unsere Anfragen reagiert. Absolut empfehlenswerte Unterkunft wenn man Ruhe und Frieden sucht. In der Umgebung ist nicht so viel wie an anderen Orten der Insel, aber es war genau das was wir gesucht haben.
