Small cottage/ guest house

Cozy little cottage in the countryside. There are horse pastures and the forest around the knot and with a 10-minute walk you are out on Biskops-Arnö. There are docks, swimming area, exercise loops, a 600 year old oak and much more! Bålsta can be reached by car in 15 minutes and Stockholm at 50. It is recommended to come by car. The cabin has a kitchen and sleeping loft. On the loft there is a 120 cm bed and a 90 cm mattress. The toilet and shower are in the same building, the shower is shared with us who live in the square (if we are home).

True lake retreat beautifully situated on a hill with beautiful lake views. Private jetty with rowing boat that you can fish from. The spacious cottage breathes Swedish history and is cozy decorated with wood stoves, pearls and a large country kitchen. Private lush garden filled with fruits, berries and flowers. Small cozy guest house on a lush plot. 400 m from the cottage is Lake Mälaren. Here you can swim by a jetty or small beach in the summer and skate in the winter. Close to beautiful nature reserve with barbecue areas and nice forest. The cabin has one room and bathroom. It has a small, but full kitchen with a dishwasher. There is a bed (140 cm) as well as a fold-up guest bed (70 cm). In the bathroom there is washing machine, shower and WC. Sheets and towels are included.

We had an awesome time in Sigtuna! We used the Captain’s Cabin as a base to visit Stockholm, Skansen, Uppsala, Marienfred and Skokloster. We used the available bikes which was great. We also used the garden, perfect for breakfast on a sunny day. The bed is a comfortable one, which is important of course. We had a great time! This Airbnb is highly recommended! The hosts are very friendly.

I had a wonderful stay at Jennecke's place. The decor is excellent, giving a very rustic feel and the big windows with the view of the lake can't be beat! The area is very peaceful lovely and Jennecke was very helpful and responsive. I definitely recommend staying here when in Uppsala!

We had a fantastic day in Maria's cabin, which is just a few meters from the water. Lovely sauna and cozy bedroom with comfortable bed and absolutely wonderful duvets! Large balcony outside with barbecue and good seating. Peaceful and beautiful surroundings with lovely footpaths. No cars! Very nice and welcoming host! Thank you! ♥️
