Big Lake Birdhaus luxury 2 bedroom basement

Big Lake Birdhouse is in a great location in a newer area that was under 15 minutes to everything we needed to do. Finding it and getting into it was super easy and the large private entrance made bringing all your stuff in a breeze. The actual space felt larger than a typical basement because of the walkout with access into the shared backyard. The huge kitchen had everything you need to make your own food and the adjoining living room with a large TV made hanging out and relaxing enjoyable. Two big bedrooms, one with a desk for those that need to work. Pictures are accurate, very nice and spacious place, we highly recommend it and will definitely be back.

The Airbnb is in a really decent, quiet location. The whole place was very clean and I recommend it. The only downside is that there’s no thermostat in the unit, only one available in the unit upstairs. The owners were very quick to respond to my request to turn up the heat though.

Very cozy bedroom with a private bathroom. MaryLou was kind and communicative. Charlie the cat was also lovely, and gave me a few visits. Felt like staying with family, but with lots of privacy. The house is also well located, close to Whyte Ave, an active street with lots of restaurant options, but in a very quiet neighborhood. Lovely place to stay!
