Amazing little cabin! Had everything we needed, nice and secluded. Had a lovely time just hanging out in nature. If you ever need a peaceful time outside the city, I highly recommend.

The Hobbit house is a cute little place to stay at if you want to explore the Hecla Island are. This place is very clean and provides everything you need for your stay. The hottub and BBQ make for a nice addition. The host responds quickly and is very helpful. Overall I recommend this place.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience during our recent two-night getaway! The property was stunning and matched the pictures perfectly—everything we hoped for and more. The hot tub was a highlight, providing the perfect spot to unwind and soak in the beauty around us. Even though there are neighbors nearby, it felt like we were tucked away in a serene retreat in the bush, which added to the charm of our stay. Communication with our host was excellent; they were responsive and ensured we had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. Checkout was a breeze, making our departure just as enjoyable as our arrival. We truly enjoyed every moment and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful escape. Dora's place is wonderful. It's a little piece of heaven on her farm. I felt so welcomed. It's rustic and far from glamping. You have to have a certain mobility to climb the ladder and get to the loft, but it's well worth it. The place had everything we needed and was spotless. The veranda is so practical. We ended our evening by the fire pit. I will definitely go back next year.

Once again I had a terrific stay at Grant's place! I was here for work and my time in the area has come to and end but if I'm ever around, this will be the first place I'll go.

This was our second stay and we had a wonderful time with our family. We are 6 adults and 5 kids ages 4-12 and the cabin, yard and location suits our family very well! The cabin is clean, well stocked and there is great communication with the hosts. We hope to be back again next summer!

This was the third time we have been to the cottage. We keep coming as we really enjoy our visits. The lake view is great and cottage provides us with everything we need to get away from the city and relax.
