Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Bhutan

The Heritage stay is pretty awesome, it gives out a very cozy feeling, makes you feel at home.

Khang Heritage was beautiful. We booked the ground floor, which had 3 well decorated bedrooms, a large dining place and a good sized equipped kitchen shared between the 1st and ground floor. Kids enjoyed the spacious backyard. Getting a taxi was very easy right from the road outside. We enjoyed the morning short walk to the Changangkha Lhakhang Temple, which offers a nice view of the city. Overall this was a perfect stay for us in Thimphu with kids.

I felt like at home from the very first moment at Khang Heritage (Dhondup's place). The house is part of the Khang Residency and one benefits from both , the privacy of being in a separate house while being assisted by the hotel's team and enjoying the services that the hotel provides. The team assisted us on everything we needed, beyond the usual needs. In a couple of cases they lit on the fire at our arrival making it more welcoming in the evening. The kitchen is decently equipped to prepare a simple meal in the evening and have a nice breakfast. I will definitely come back to the Khang Heritage the next time I visit Thimpu.

This house was a great place. Not very far from the city center. It was quiet and peaceful. They cooked lively food for us! Kids loved plucking fresh oranges from the orange tree. The fireplace in the evening was cosy. Everything was perfect about this house. Highly recommend to other travellers.

Dechen and her team are wonderful people. They were friendly, helpful and helped us check in easily and comfortably. The apartment is lovely, and had everything we needed, in a very peaceful area. We are glad we stayed with Dechen.
