What a fab house this is. We stayed for 6 weeks and did not want to leave. Jo was always on hand if we needed anything but the house is so well set up that we rarely did. The location is fab on a quiet back street but a COOP, Indian and nice bar all within a few mins walk. The house is really well presented and has everything you’d need for a short or longer stay. The hot tub is a great addition and the garden feels really private. All the bedrooms are a great size and perfect for couples. I can’t rate this place highly enough! Full 5 stars from us!

The place is beautiful and its exactly as described and the Hosts Susan and Neil were friendly and they got everything ready by the time we've got there. We had a great time at their Getaway. The Place was squeaky clean and it was welcoming peace and quite. The instructions guide provided by the hosts listed out everything we could do in the area and it made our stay stress free. The Hot Tub was ready for us and we enjoyed the night stay gazing at the stars and in the morning it was peaceful and quite; could hear the birds chirping. We also got to meet the Horses which elevated our experience staying at this place. We will definitely recommend this place and will soon be coming back in Summer.Great Hosts and Amazing Hospitality.

Beautiful house with home from home comforts in a lovely well kept residential area. Lots to keep us entertained… hot tub, pool, arcade games, darts, swing ball and lots of board games, which brought back childhood memories… hadn’t seen some of the games in years! And also some newer games which we hadn’t seen before. Everything was in the house as we were expecting. We were very lucky with the weather, so spent lots of time exploring local areas too. Lytham and Lytham St Anne’s are lovely… not as busy as Blackpool. Son and daughter explored Blackpool and Blackpool zoo. Model village near the zoo is worth a visit too. All are about 15-20 minutes drive. The Grapes in Wrea (about 5 mins from the house) does lovely bar food and welcomes dogs… treats, bowls and water provided.

Great place with great host. Would stay again. Location was perfect as a family wanting to visit Chester Zoo!

This cottage was perfect for us - 2 couples with small children. Louise gave us loads of information before we arrived, and her husband greeted us shortly after we arrived. It was such an easy stay with small children, we had everything we needed, and the stair gate made life so easy! There were lots of lovely touches like providing snacks, coffee and jams. And Louise even provided some glasses for the solar eclipse!! The surroundings are really peaceful and the kids loved the 2 Shetland ponies in the field opposite. There are lots of options for walks from the cottage, or a short drive away. The Black Lion pub did a great roast dinner. I found there was so much thought put into the stay and Louise was very accommodating. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic stay! Plenty of space to spread out, everything was provided and the house was immaculate, clean & toasty warm. Lovely welcome basket and great recommendations and advice (great meal at the Crown & Anchor & stunning walk to the secret waterfall!) Kids could have stayed on the trampoline all day, adults in the hot tub :) Highly recommend if looking for a cosy home with easy access to Peak District.

We had an emergency at our house due to some building work and found mikes place on here. It was a short notice weekday booking yet everything was perfect. So thankful for all the little well thought through extras like tea, milk, juice etc. The flat is gorgeous and the garden is beautiful with a lovely view of the hills. We only live down the road but we'd be tempted to book again just to stay somewhere so lovely. Thank you so much mike.

Jane's property was in a fab location for our weekend we were able to do both the countryside and the city. The immediate area is lovely and quiet and having pub shop and station within walking distance was brilliant. The garden made the weekend a pleasure because of fab weather. All instructions were really helpful .

We loved our stay at Swallows Nest. A tranquil, peaceful stay which allowed us to remove ourselves from our busy lives for a few days and enjoy the quiet. Slaithwaite has loads to offer too in terms of good restaurants & nice walks… all in such a picturesque spot too. Everything in the cottage was top standard. Clean. Comfy beds. The shower is great and the bath is huge! Our daughter very much enjoyed her relaxing baths every evening. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. Rumpus is a must visit in town for the most delicious burgers using beef from the cattle at Sally’s farm. Thank you Sally for such a wonderful stay.

I can sum up my stay with Jennie in one sentence: Professionalism and empathy at every level! The apartment and location were great, but the service made all the difference. From the very beginning of planning my trip, I got in touch with Jennie, and she always responded promptly, providing detailed information and showing genuine care for every aspect. Even when an unexpected issue arose, she was incredibly proactive, immediately offering a solution, following up on everything remotely, and later making sure everything had been fully resolved. For anyone planning to visit Manchester and looking for a pleasant place to stay with a polite, professional, and caring host, I highly recommend her!

Richard’s place was perfect for a long weekend family getaway. The house is cosy and welcoming, with everything you need. The location is a great base to explore the surrounding countryside and in easy walking distance of several pubs and cafes in the centre of Delph. We would more than happily stay here again in the future.

Fantastic flat, smack in the middle of action. The Northern Quarter is fun! So many restaurants, cafes, shops. We walked to Etihad for a game and walked back—an amazing experience. The flat is stylish, clever, comfortable, and very clean. Paula is an excellent communicator. A wonderful stay.

What a cute place! Our family had a wonderful time at Hywel's. Our twin girls had a blast playing with all the toys and reading the books. We all slept beautifully and cooked delicious dinners in the family-friendly kitchen.

This was our second time at Phils, first time to celebrate my 70th second time for my husbands 75th. When I asked my family where they wanted to celebrate my husbands 75th birthday it was Phils place. Its perfect for our multi-generational family, amples of space and the pool and hot tub are the icing on the cake. We all had the best time and we made lots of memories. We very much enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage. The space is great and as an extra bonus, you get to use a heated pool and brilliant games room. We went early Jan and there was loads of snow, as well as pretty cold temperatures, but the house warmed up very quickly and we were always more than comfortable. The property is close enough to Bakewell for a short drive or taxi ride, should you want to venture into town. We're thinking about going back in the summer.

What a wonderful stay at Manor Farm. The house was beautiful, well maintained, extremely spacious and very comfortable. The surrounding countryside was stunning, with great food being served in nearby pubs and plenty of places to visit. Great space for youngsters too, with the wildlife - baby rabbits, sheep and birds and of course the swimming pool and games room, all of which they loved. Thanks to the hosts for their welcome and hospitable atmosphere.

Great value for money. Can't stress enough how friendly and reliable the staff were. We had a lovely week stay, the house was clean, the beds were comfy and the scenery was perfect. We were informed of the booking system for the swimming pool and games room, so you could have the room to yourself which was great. The pool was clean, the games room was kept tidy and the house surroundings were really lovely to walk around. You can tell the grounds were well maintained and kept in good shape as the workers never stopped, but were always so friendly. This property is perfect for bike riders, walkers and pub crawlers. You couldn't get bored.

We had a fantastic break. 2 families with kids of different ages and the dogs of course. There was more than enough space for all of us, and the house was kitted out perfectly. We absolutely loved the swim spa and hot tub. We would definitely book the house again.

This little house is so cosy with the wood burner and everything you need for a getaway in the country. Watch the kestrels hunt through the window and make friends with the goats and chickens. Wonderful little brook and woods to explore and a wee paddle around the lake as dear ran past was such a treat. This is on a farm and not a palace but if you want a private getaway on a farm with access to beautiful countryside - this does the job perfectly.
