The stone from which our house was built remembers the hands of Michelangelo Buonarroti's contemporaries, William Shakespeare… The house is adjacent to a direct pedestrian path to Křivoklát Castle (360 m). The same path will lead you to the village, to several nodes of hiking trails, to the information center of the Forests of the Czech Republic, to the shop (270 m), to the restaurant (315 m) and to the children's playground (230 m).

Quiet cottage in the historic center of Mníšek pod Brdy. Bright, spacious kitchen, bedroom on the mezzanine floor. There is a sofa bed in the living area. Small flowering garden with a terrace, where there is complete privacy 2 minutes walk from the bus that will take you to Prague in half an hour. A cycle bus runs from April to October. There are good restaurants and the Esmarin sports center, which also offers wellness. Mníšek pod Brdy is an ideal place for trips to Brdy, there are many hiking trails and bike trails in the area.

The cottage is family and pet friendly. The cottage has a spacious terrace with breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside towards the Berounka River. There is a fire pit in the backyard for an evening sitting by the campfire. There is also a charcoal grill. Next to the cottage there is a small playground with a carousel, children's house, slide, swings, sandpit.

Chata Dřevák is an experience accommodation on the edge of the forest near Štěpánský pond designed especially for families with children. Well accessible - 35 min. by car from Prague, 30 min from Pilsen. Parking on the property. Štěpánský pond is located 500m from the cottage. Křivoklátsko Protected Landscape Area and Brdy Protected Landscape Area with the highest natural peak of Central Bohemia - Tok can be reached by car in 10 minutes. Nearby: Jindřichova skála, Castle Valdek, Tok, Jordan, .... Walking and cycling trips. Swimming in the Zaskal dam. We only rent the house when we are outside of the Czech Republic.
