Beautiful home with a spectacular view of the island. Great layout with large glass sliders that open to create indoor/outdoor vibe. Bedrooms were clean and comfortable with additional fans. Simon was a wonderful host who gave us some great suggestions on places to eat and drink during our stay. As others have noted, the hill up to the house is quite steep, but just think of it as your leg workout for the day :) And your reward at the end is a dip in a pristine saltwater pool. Will definitely be back.

Daffodil made our stay really easy and enjoyable. She went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed and would always respond to us immediately or be around to answer any questions. We were lucky to have the place to ourselves for the first couple of nights so it was really peaceful, just what we needed after a few busy weeks of exploring. The views are amazing, with a huge balcony to enjoy them from. The bed is massive and really comfy! It's a bit of a walk into town but we really enjoyed it, walking through where all the locals live and amazing views following the bay all the way around. They offer free boat trips across to the beaches, but we enjoyed walking around. there was some snorkeling right off the pontoon in front of Daffodils. We highly recommend the hike up mount Peggy. The views are amazing! Also enjoyed liming with the locals on Sunday in the beach shacks past Jack's bar! Lower bay is also worth a visit! Great island and lovely people 💕🥰

Calmando is a fabulous place to relax while listening to the waves crash on the ocean below while staring at the stars on the pitch-black nights. While Bequia is quiet in general, Calmando is located on the other side of the mountain from the main town of Port Elizabeth making it even more quiet and private. We heard nothing but the singing of the gecko's and the waves at night. The host on the island, Edwin, was great. He answered all of our questions and was there to meet us at the dock despite our constantly evolving travel plans (airline delays, missed ferries etc.). My wife and I have stayed in AirBnb's all over the world and this villa had one of the best-stocked kitchens we have ever experienced. Nothing was missing. The internet was fast and reliable contrary to the previous negative review. We would 100% stay at Calmando again.
