I truly enjoyed my stay at this apartment — it was absolutely amazing! The place was spotlessly clean, spacious, and very comfortable. A special thank you to Mr. Bhaskara, who was incredibly kind, helpful, and informative throughout our stay. Thanks to his warm hospitality, we really felt at home. Highly recommended!

We stayed 9 nights and didn't regret booking this place. It has everything you need. The location is a gem! 4 min walk to the beach through a nice hotel. Some amazing natural trail walking distance away. It's next to 2 bus stops so you can easily get to Victoria and then wherever you need without renting a car or paying for a taxi. Lots of supermarkets and take aways around. The apartment has a good equipped kitchen and even a rice cooker. There is a fridge-freezer with ice tray 🙌🏻 Great air conditioner. Bathroom looks newly refinished and the shower is great. The apartment is cleaned everyday. I personally felt like I'm in a hotel rather than self catering. I also want to say big thank you to Rupert for being such a great host. He helped us with airport transfer, explained bus system and answered all our questions about Seychelles way of life. I would highly recommend this place to stay 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Marlaine & Alex set a new standard for “Home Away from Home”! From coordinating our airport pickup to allowing an early check-in and stocking the fridge with essentials, they went above and beyond. Alex graciously took us around, showing us the way to the beach, guiding us to the supermarket, and even helping us get fresh fish. Later, we prepared part of it ourselves, while the rest was BBQ’d by him and Marlaine for a beautiful Sunday dinner together. We felt completely at ease with them and with their lovely guest, Annabelle, who added to the warm atmosphere. The guesthouse itself is spotless, peaceful, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you could need. The bed is incredibly comfortable, with crisp white linens, and the vibe is just serene. And of course, I can’t forget Bulldozer, their friendly tortoise, who came to visit the moment he heard our voices. Seychelles is the 27th country I’ve visited and La Gayole is easily in my top 3 stays. Truly unforgettable hospitality.

Dave was a great host, super flexible with checkin and checkout which suited our travel schedule. Great recommendations, and an awesome view of the sunset.

Great host and great place! There is bus stop just next to the house if you dont have the car. Plus, you got little shops just outside the apartment if you need. 100% recommended!

We had a very good stay here. Jamie was responsive. The location was clean and the view from the other side of the building is nice. Definitely good to have a car to make it up the hill. In comparison to our other rentals in Seychelles there was less amenities in the room (hand towels, kitchen supplies for example) but it wasn't a major detraction. It's location to Beau Vallon is helpful. Excellent A/C!

We had a wonderful two-week stay in this magical house with turtles! The house is old, but that’s part of its unique charm and aesthetic — it has real character. We were warmly welcomed by the lovely host, who stayed with us for the first few days. She showed us around, introduced us to the turtles, and gave us great tips about the area. The house is in good condition and beautifully arranged with many thoughtful details. It's about 15 minutes from the main supermarket, 10 minutes from the beach, and just 6 minutes to the start of some great hiking trails. There’s also a housekeeper who helps keep everything tidy and is available if needed. And let’s not forget the sweet cats that live on the property — they add a cozy, homey touch to the whole experience.
