Welcome all travelers who love our house and can fully comply with the house, we set up a security deposit to prevent a small number of people who deliberately do not follow the house rules (mainly indoor smoking), if you can respect the rules, you do not have to worry about any fees. We welcome all the visitors who respect the house rules. The reason we set up the guarantee deposit is for avoiding few visitors who don't respect the rules, ex. smoking in the apartment. The location is perfect close to restaurants, minimarts, and public transportation. Right in front there’s a small park with a playground. No stairs as it is on the ground floor, safe neighborhood. Amenities are well provided for. The basement room is very spacious with a mini play area for kids.

We loved our stay at Kay’s place! Hubert met us upon arrival and gave us super helpful directions about the property and the area. The unit was clean and felt fresh upon arrival. Could not say better things about the location - easy to find and in the middle of a fantastic, cool neighborhood but the unit felt chill and relaxing for downtime between sightseeing and visits with family. The kids room with toys was a big hit with my littles, and we were impressed with the quality appliances and lovely decor. Would highly recommend this beautiful home to anybody looking for a comfortable, luxurious feeling headquarters for your next trip to Taipei. We’ll be back on our next visit!

My son and I stayed at Kate’s place for five nights. It’s just a two-minute walk from my parents' home, making it very convenient. The place was exceptionally clean and quiet—like a hidden haven in the midst of a busy, noisy city. It was also very comfortable, and we hope to stay there again next time.

Apartment exactly like the pictures showed, very easy to check in and out, the host was well prepared of all we needed for our stay. Great location, 5 to 8 minutes walk to the subway entrances (IMO Taipei likely has the number 1 subway system in the world), 30 feet to the bus stops but not recommended for older folks (convenient but more momentane than desired), lots of local food stalls and restaurants to experience around your apartment building (use the number 1 rule - follow the crowds for unknown eateries). Loved the food there, so many different things to choose from, and the night-markets were great to explore the local snacks and food (as long you are not afraid of the crowds), do expect to gain a few extra kgs after the trip to Taiwan though. Overall a great trip and will definitely go back and get the same apartment if available then.

The apartment was perfect for a long stay with our toddler. The apartment had everything we needed - laundry, an equipped kitchen, a big bathtub - and the front bedroom has a low bed with tatami next to it so perfect for a little one. I used to live in the area and always like to return here because of how local it feels - this is classic Taipei. No frills, nothing fancy, but so much heart and character. Add in a responsive and helpful host and it’s a great combo. Will definitely stay again!

My second time in Taipei and first time staying at Alan's place. Three of us had a wonderful time in Taipei! Thanks, Alan for your excellent hospitality. Unlimited clean drinking water, kitchen, easy access to his place and so on. His place is a hidden gem, only 5-10min walk to MRT and buses as well. Many more to explore in the area including great local restaurants! I would say Shilin district (or Alan's place) is considered one of the best locations to stay in Taipei. Last but not least, Alan is such a kind person and great host! Thanks again Alan :)
