Having been a business owner in the financial services to high end clients my standards are fairly high. I can honestly say I was blown away by Chihying’s level of professional service. She told me to cancel the hire car, picked me up from the train station, drove me around and honestly if it was not for this supreme host I would have not won the challenge Taiwan in my age group. I had a bike issue and Chihying spent 2 hours with me at the giant bike shop. What sort of guest does this. Out of this world and on race day she drove me at 6am to the start line. The home made me very comfortable to relax before the race. I cannot say enough. I often don’t write reviews but feel that this was world class hosting.

Wir sind zu dritt angereist und hatten ausreichend Platz. Die Betten sind in Ordnung. Alles in der Wohnung wirkt wie neu und war außerdem blitzsauber. Das Bad hat eine japanische Toilette vom feinsten und eine tolle Dusche. Es gibt sogar eine Waschmaschine. Unsere Wohnung war im 1. Stock, so dass jemand der gehbehindert ist, schwer hinaufkommt. Aber im selben Haus gibt es eine Wohnung im Erdgeschoss. Selbstverpflegung ist nicht notwendig, denn es gibt viele Restaurants in der Nähe. Wir können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen.

overall pleasant experience. Just note that you need to clarify with host if you want to book the whole place. we selected n booked the whole house/unit for 4 pax but when we arrived, they said its only for 2 double rooms!?? so we tried to explained to them n they agreed to open 2 more rooms. we compensated them another NT2500 on our own accord as cleaning fees.

房間裡面的備品都很齊全，不用自己額外帶太多的東西，還有除濕機可以使用，一樓也有飲水機很方便，雖然在洗澡方面，真的比較適合一個人洗完之後，停個五到十分鐘再洗，熱水會比較充足，但不至於到洗冷水，房東也有先行提醒，整體來說挺好的，這是第二次住。

房東反應及時，雖然我們是臨時預訂，也遇到一些狀況，但房東很迅速的排除問題，一直都沒遇到人，但服務感受很好。地理位置有點點尷尬，適合有交通工具，搭大眾運輸會有點辛苦。可惜遇到颱風，下次天氣好還是會入住。

Egg's location was a short 3m walk from Taitung train station, so it was very easy to get to. The hostel itself is a spacious room on the 3rd floor of Egg's personal home. The room itself is very colorful, clean, and the AC quickly cools the room down. Egg is an extremely friendly and talented person who kindly lent me his e-bike to use and also spent over an hour telling me about all the lesser known spots that are around Taitung, Luye, Guanshan, Ruiyuan, and Chishang. He also helped me check the train schedules to make sure I would be able to string together an efficient plan to see as many spots as possible. I later found out that he operates a part time tourism agency where he will take you around many interesting places across Taiwan. Make sure to message him early and ask if he has any itineraries available. I will love to join one of his trips in the future if possible. Thank you so much Egg!!!
