Vacation rentals with a kayak in Bega Valley Shire Council

Wow wow wow, this is the most beautiful AirBnB we have ever stayed in. Everything has been planned and fitted out to ensure that your stay is perfect in this sanctuary. The wildlife, stunning wetlands scenery, sound of the surf pounding the shore , draw dropping sunrises and sunsets from the 180 degree vista and last but not least the hot tub….. and I just remembered even gumboots are provided to explore the wetlands!! We will definitely return, it’s a very special place.

Tarquin and Danie'l are lovely hosts who made us feel at home in their beautiful historic house. They have made it very comfortable with well chosen rugs and linen, and lots of little details that makes a holiday stay feel like staying at a friend's house. Local products and produce gave a sense of being part of the Tilba community, and they gave us local recommendations for walks and cafes. As they live next door they manage the perfect balance of interested host, whilst giving privacy. I thoroughly recommend staying with them in Tilba.

We had a brilliant time staying at Sarah's property! The location by the river is peaceful and idyllic, truly magical. There is plenty of wildlife to observe from the green by the river and kayaks are provided to explore the river itself. Sarah is a friendly host, proactive and helpful to ensure you have a great stay. Her local recommendations for things to do and places to eat were great. We chose to eat at Dulcie's Cottage which we can highly recommend. We'd recommend Sarah's place to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Gail and Ken’s place is a little oasis of tranquility in beautiful nature. The photos don’t even do it justice - it’s even prettier than that. The house is spacious for a family of five, spotless, has everything you could need and can be heated well and to more than what you probably need even in winter as it is well insulated. Gail and Ken are very friendly and helpful, and provided lots of useful info material for our stay. Our kids enjoyed roaming around the river and spotting a platypus several times. We are looking forward to coming back!

A most brilliant bush location, with beaches nearby. Jeannie was a wonderful host. You are part of their sublime home and property. Generous and kind in personality and the spaces you access. Kallaroo was such a delight! The surroundings are breathtaking and the cottage stunning and full of everything you could need. We loved exploring the property, walking to various places that Bea suggested to us. The Hot Tub was a big highlight, as was the tyre swing and hammock for our two young girls. We enjoyed dinner by the fire, toasting marshmallows and watching the stars. Bea’s communication and care for guests is 10/10. Such a beautiful family who take such care of the cottage, the property and their guests. Thank you!

Fabulous place to stay if you like nature and a peaceful environment. The little cottage is surrounded by forest. We are keen birders and saw 32 different species of bird during our two week stay including the hard to find Glossy Black Cockatoo.
