Large and pretty charming house in the heart of Maconnais. Perfectly equipped, the house offers large spaces to gather and beautiful rooms (quality bedding) with bathrooms. In winter, the beautiful living room and its magnificent fireplace are a charming asset. Finally, the location of the house is ideal for sightseeing in the region (Tournus, Mâcon, Cluny, the vineyards). Great restaurants within 10 km... In short, perfect for a stay even in the winter season: comfort, heating and amenities (beautiful kitchen, large TV) Pleasant communication with Laurence, To be tried without hesitation!

The most cosiest air bnb in Lyon, Ethel’s place was warm, welcoming and made us feel right at home. The location was not far from local busses and trains into main Lyon both for very cheap. It had shops nearby which were cheap and had english speaking staff which made it very easy for us to shop at. The local area was peaceful and felt very safe:) The house had the most wonderful interior with a cosy living space, modern but authentic kitchen and a lovely bathroom with shower and bath. Finally the Pool! the main reason we booked this place was the glamorous pool, was warm as it had a electric cover to keep it warm and it had been really well looked after meaning it was clean and safe. Ethel’s place is definitely somewhere i would return if i visit Lyon again. Ethel it has been lovely and you have been very responsive. :)

Jenna was so accommodating fitting us in at the last minute and waiting for us to arrive late at night. We had a wonderful warm and attentive welcome with a fire waiting for us - much appreciated after a long day’s travels. Lovely touches like water by the beds and things out for breakfast. I’m sorry we were only stopping overnight as it was a beautiful area and looked great for exploring Lyon, whilst being lovely and peaceful . Would definitely recommend. The pool looked great for the summer too!

Great location for getting into central Lyon, 8 minute walk from the station and just a ten minute train to vieux Lyon. The space is great with a modern feel. The garden is beautiful and spacious.

We had a lovely stay, in the countryside and quiet, in a very clean, well-equipped and pleasant cottage. Florence is always available and attentive. I will come back with great pleasure!

Great stay, the accommodation is very well located in an idyllic setting. The accommodation is clean and well-equipped. Nadine was available and answered all of our questions quickly. the only downside is the apartment is not very well soundproofed. You can hear everything between the rooms. But we were on a quiet family weekend so it was fine.

The accommodation and photos correspond in every way to the description, the fact that the house is secluded is nice if you want to feel quiet. The host was responsive and gave us all the information and instructions in advance. The only small negative point we pointed out was that the place wasn't quite clean when we arrived. This is because there was dust and a few cobwebs. Reading the other reviews, I think it was exceptional and we just weren't lucky. Aside from this small point, we are very happy with our stay in this lovely house!

Short stay but informative on the potential of the place and the quality of the hospitality. We met a charming person who knows how to feel, loves to showcase his region. We'll be happy to go back.

My family stayed one night here. Lovely quiet location. The jacuzzi was a real hit and gave us a perfect end to our night. the kids enjoyed the babyfoot. the shower was great and we used the mini oven, coffee machine for coffee and hot chocolate. very comfy beds and wifi was super. We rented the accommodation for 5 families with children and infants for a long weekend. The estate is splendid, everything is spacious, perfectly suited to a large group. The exteriors are amazing, playground, large table with barbecue, a pond where we were able to fish! The owners are available, welcoming and concerned that everything goes smoothly for their visitors! A safety gate for the stairs in the house would have been a little extra. We recommend and will be happy to come back!

We spend a very nice week in the Region. The house is optimal for a Family with two kids. From the house you can easily start hiking or start your trips to the wineyards. But you need a car to get to the house as there is no public transportation connection and the street is quite ascending.

A really very warm and attentive welcome and a very nice place. However, the photos are a little confusing because the entire place is only a small building in the back of the house, which has 4 comfortable and decorated bedrooms with great attention (with a downside on one of them that does not have a window), and 2 small kitchens, no cosi place inside to get together. The beautiful house we see in the photos is that of our hosts, who were however very kind to leave it for us one evening to have dinner together on site. Great restaurants nearby but book in advance! Thanks again to Nathalie and Jean for all their attention!

We had a great time at this very warm house. The space is great for a couple, the house is very clean and functional. We particularly enjoyed the spacious and comfortable room. The terrace overlooking a very green garden as well as the river that crosses it is charming and soothing. Geneviève and Jean-Pierre were very responsive, welcoming, flexible and available. I can only recommend it! Thank you for everything.
