This was the third time we rented the Black House and it's starting to feel like a home away from home. Proximity to the cross country ski trails is fantastic and the house is spotless, cozy and the kitchen is well stocked! Stéphanie is incredibly responsive to all messages and very friendly in all communications. highly recommend!!!!!

We loved our stay at Lise’s space. Plenty of room and in a quiet neighborhood. Located away from the busy city area yet a very short and inexpensive uber ride into the heart of the city. We even walked back a couple of times in the evening it was close enough. Highly recommended staying here.

Le chalet était au delà de mes attentes.. Tout est parfait j’y retournerai sans problème. J’ai fais quelques chalet dans la région et c’est de loin mon préféré L’hôte est très accessible en tout temps Que du positif Merci !!!

I have no words to express my feelings for this place. I just loved it. We felt like we are just at our own home. From the entrance till top floor, everything was perfect. Patio, balcony and smart TV made it more enjoyable. The little details for every single thing was very attentive and creative. If anyone is planning to stay here, don’t think twice. You must go there. If we ever have a plan to visit Quebec, we will definitely book this place. Thank you so much for making our trip a very beautiful and memorable memory.

A delightful mix of old house (hand-hewn beams and squared-off logs for walls) with new renovations (modern bathrooms, comfortable beds, very clean, etc.). The neighborhood is not particularly beautiful, but we were looking for proximity to the Mont St. Anne xc ski trails and this home is perfectly located for that, along with a small grocery store and gas station a couple hundred meters away. It is both cozy and comfortable, and we will gladly come back again, potentially with other family friends as the house has three apartments and would easily house a large number of people. Un chalet parfait pour décrocher! 5 chambres, lits confortables, 2 salle de bain complète. Il ne manque absolument rien chez Louis : serviettes en quantité, bois pour le feu extérieur et intérieur, cuisine très bien équipée et +. Le coin avec le foyer électrique est parfait pour la détente pendant que d’autres sont à la salle à manger et sont plus bruyants :) C’est très propre et tranquille. On avait comme un feeling de rendre visite à grand maman ;) Il y a de belles promenades en forêt à faire. Un dépanneur pas loin pour les petits oublis. De plus nos amis à quatre pattes sont les bienvenus! Nous vous recommandons un séjour chez Louis en famille ou en amis vous serez charmés.

Great long weekend - the perfect “staycation” for relaxation. The walk down to the water was beautiful, the views are truly wonderful, location was awesome. Easy ride to the state park. Always nice to find a home where we can bring the dog, and have it be clean and well cared for! Hot tub did not disappoint.

We absolutely loved our stay! The hosts thought of everything — from fully stocked dishes and cozy bedding to coffee and thoughtful snacks waiting for us when we arrived. The space was spotless and beautifully decorated, and the grounds were immaculate. We met Holly during our stay and she was so sweet. Although we didn’t meet Nadine in person, she was incredibly responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay here again — it truly felt like a home away from home.

Nous avons passé trois semaines très agréables chez notre hôte. Elle est extrêmement gentille, discrète et toujours souriante, et nous avons beaucoup apprécié discuter avec elle. La suite est confortable, bien équipée et décorée avec goût. Le jardin est magnifique, un vrai petit havre de paix. Et mention spéciale pour sa chatte Billy, absolument adorable ! A lovely place to enjoy peaceful time with family or friends! We stayed in early June, and the neighborhood was beautifully green and picturesque. The home offers a stunning view of the hills and is tucked away in a quiet, private area. It was clean and well-equipped with almost all the amenities we needed. Marie was very helpful and responsive, which made our stay even more comfortable. Conveniently located about 30 minutes from Old Quebec and Parc national de la Jacques-Cartier, we had the chance to explore both the city and the national park. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house. The property is spacious, clean, and offers a peaceful retreat with its private land. The spa and pool table were fantastic additions that made our stay even more enjoyable. The host was incredibly kind and accommodating, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. Clean space as described within walking distance to all Quebec City attractions. Parking spot is small so we opted to leave the car in the garage and take Ubers or walk to the Old City. I think overall good value compared to staying in a hotel, however be aware there is a homeless shelter one block away where a number of homeless people are milling about on the sidewalk so walking home at night from the wrong direction was a little sketchy. Not a problem for four adults but not ideal if traveling with small children in my opinion.

We had an amazing stay here! The room was spotless, super comfortable, and had everything we needed. The host was incredibly friendly and always happy to help. The location was perfect, close to everything but still quiet at night. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the city

La seule chose, c’est que y avait une piscine qui devait être chauffée, mais nous avons su après que c’était à partir du 21 juin qu’elle serait chauffée, mais j’avais déjà communiqué avec Liliane et qui m’avait confirmé qu’elle était chauffée. Alors c’est le seul désagrément qu’on a eu le reste était parfait sur toute la ligne.

Nous avons passé un magnifique week-end en amoureux, relaxe et paisible.

Mon gros coup de cœur de cette année! une adresse que je retiens dans mes favoris. Deux jeunes enfants avec moi et ils ont adoré également, un endroit à faire en famille hors du temps pour souffler de la routine.

Merci Tommy, nous avons apprécié notre séjour à Lac etchemin nous recommandons sans hésitation peut-être y retourner en été avec la beauté du lac serait une option pour nous. Merci encore pour tout.
